About this property

Take a trip back in time with Lazy Bear! This recently renovated, Scandinavian-inspired rustic log cabin that’s tucked away on 3 acres, about 20 minutes from either Dollywood or downtown Gatlinburg!
As you enter Lazy Bear on the lower level, you will enjoy the modern conveniences, including a project screen, TV, arcade game, and sitting area. A bathroom with a stand-up shower and washer/dryer is on this level. The hot tub is also on the level as well.
Head upstairs to the living area and gas fireplace, the fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with queen size beds and TVs, and a full bathroom with a shower tub combo. The gas grill is located off the kitchen on the large covered deck.
Head on upstairs to an open sitting area, a bedroom with a king-size bed and TV, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
Lazy Bear is a dog-friendly unit, so bring your four-legged family along as well. Please call if you have a larger dog.
The road is not suitable for travel trailers. Parking is limited to three vehicles maximum.

Lots of space and quiet.

Very clean and plenty of space for 6 people. Kitchen well provisioned with coffee maker, toaster, blender, wine glasses, utensils, most anything you would need. Beds were very good. Big wrap around deck with a nice grill.and table. A little difficult to navigate to but worth it. TV in every bedroom and main room. WIFI quite slow but no problem at all viewing Netflix on theTVs.Good cell phone reception (T-Mobile, ATT and Verison). Good, friendly and prompt communication with the host. Would stay there again.

Great Getaway

My family of 6 plus our dog stayed at this cabin. It was a great little cabin for our needs. We loved the seclusion and the closeness to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin close to everything

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lazy Bear cabin. The house was very clean and the furnishings all appeared to be very new. The craftsmanship of the log cabin is just gorgeous. Our children thought the loft and the video game system were so much fun. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. The door knobs needed some work but that's the only thing we struggled with. One is on backwards and one only locks with a chain which isn't terribly secure. Easy fixes. The rental company was friendly and responsive the one time we needed to contact them. The neighbors up the hill have dogs and roosters but that's country life for you. I liked seeing chickens on the hill. Ear plugs work if it's too much at night. Be aware that the roads going to the cabin are very winding with blind curves and steep roads you can't really see until you start on the way down them. My prius rides low to the ground and bottomed out terribly on the driveway so we used my dad's SUV once we got it parked. Take your time on the roads and look for the signs with the name of the rental company. My GPS didn't recognize the last turn. The cabin is an easy drive from Gatlingburg and is literally in the middle of the arts and crafts district. We will absolutely rent the Lazy Bear cabin again when we come back and look into the rental companies other properties

Quiet place in the woods

This was exactly what we were looking for! A quiet place away from the crowds. Extremely clean, everything was in working order, and the hot tub was amazing. 15-20 minutes from gatlinburg. A wonderful retreat!
