About this property

Look no further than A Perfect 10 as the perfect vacation home for your family! Overlooking the 10th fairway of The Currituck Club, it is close to the main entrance of the Club where both the Fitness Center and Clubhouse are located. [Note: No dogs or other animals allowed in this home.]

Beds: 3 King Masters, 1 Queen Jr. Master, 2 Pyramid Bunk Sets with Trundles; 14 Towel Sets provided

TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room encompasses the living area, dining area (seats 10) and a well-equipped kitchen that has an island (seats 4), 2 dishwashers and a ceramic-top range. A half bath is available for guests on this floor. A Ships Watch has more seating for relaxation and outdoor views. The first of 3 King Master Suites is on the top floor with separate shower and a soaking tub; it has a sitting area and deck access. [Note: gas fireplace is not for guest use.]

MID LEVEL:
Two King Master Suites on this level have flat-screen TVs and their private bathrooms have shower/tub combos; one King Master has access to a private deck. For the kids, this floor has two bedrooms with a Pyramid Bunk Set with Trundle in each room with a TV and these rooms share the hall bath with shower/tub combo.

GROUND LEVEL:
The Queen Jr. Master Suite has access to a semi-private cabana bath (shower/tub combo) that can also be accessed by the outdoor pool area. The Lounge area has a wet bar, microwave, mini-fridge, and TV. Outdoors, enjoy the large private pool (11' x 23') or hot tub and the surrounding patio is spacious for all family members to lounge and relax. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles.

EXTRAS:
As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. Golfers in the family will enjoy special privileges, including advance tee times and reduced green fees, at The Currituck Club championship 18-hole golf course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

Family fun

We stayed with our family and our friend's family. House was a perfect fit for the 14 of us. Kids loved the pool. Everything was super convenient from the beach, to the stores, to the restaurants, to the activities. Plenty to do or not do depending on the vibe. It was perfect.

Nice with Room For Improvement

The house was nice with plenty of space. There was an electricity issue, and broken door handle in a master bedroom with maintenance request not rushed and had an infant in the room. The windows and window sills have not been cleaned in a long time, spider webs everywhere outside. The neighborhood was great.. very pretty. The beach for the property was about 2 miles away, which was misleading in the description of the property. The grill was filthy. We had to scrape and clean for quite some time and decided using aluminum foil was the best option. Again, overall, my family enjoyed the stay, maybe housekeeping just needs to focus a little more in areas.

Family Vacation Success

We had a great time getting away. The house was very accommodating. The facility lent itself to numerous golf outings by a couple of our guys. (Be aware if you don't have 4 in your party the golf pro will double you up, our guys were not a fan of that, especially when it did not make sense because someone had not shown for their tee time so it wasn't a big deal, then they allowed a 2-some to go behind them). The teens loved biking everywhere, basketball, pickle ball, and bocce ball; adults too of course. It was nice to have the grocery store right there, we even walked to Duck Donut and Smoothie Island which was nice. My little nephew (10) loved feeding the turtles. Most of us got out in the morning and walked/ran/biked easily on the trail provided. The parking at the beach is horrible, upon leaving we saw people parking their cars at 6am. The trolley is nice and the drivers were friendly; but it was somewhat annoying waiting for a ride, or having to ride 45 minutes through out the plan looking for others that needed a ride. However, the ride back is quick, much appreciated. The pool at the house seems a little smaller than in the picture, but we enjoyed it to its fullest. Overall had a great trip!
