About this property

This 1900s firehouse was beautifully converted to a single-family home that overlooks the Wallkill River, right in the Village of Walden. Up to two guests will be comfortable in this spacious fully private studio space with a private bathroom and full kitchen. Wifi, linens, and hair dryer are provided.
The space
Up to two guests will enjoy what feels like a huge city studio, with a comfortable queen sized bed with plugs and usb ports bedside to easily charge your devices. Log into your favorite streaming services on the internet connected 55” UHD tv and curl up on the sofa to enjoy some downtime. Updated, full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, toaster and drip coffeemaker, with cooking basics for your use. Enjoy your meals seated at the large kitchen island.

Access the house from Montgomery Street then enter your bedroom using the code pad and head down the stairs to your cozy home.
Please use caution on the staircase, especially if you are carrying luggage.

Great spot

I loved the character of #3 Very clean. Beautiful woodwork. Had everything we needed. I would say the towels are a little on the small side and I’m a small person. Everything else was perfect and Rebecca was easy to get a hold of and very friendly We will stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Has potential

This place had all the amazing qualities to be great, but fell short. The place must have been empty for a bit because there were cobwebs and spiders everywhere, clean otherwise. We ended up leaving early to find somewhere else to stay. The owners could have been a bit more friendly in communication.

Enjoyed the “firehouse”.

Perfect for two. Central location to everywhere we had on our itinerary. Nicely decorated. Could use a comfy chair to compliment the sofa/sleeper. Enjoyed our stay and owners were the best! The only reason I gave 4 stars for location/neighborhood is on-street parking. The lower parking lot was not used by us as it wasn’t practical.
