Escape to our charming chalet in the Pocono Mts. Our 3-bed, 2-bath house features a fun filled game room and plenty of space for your group to gather. Enjoy cozy nights by the propane fire table on the deck, or relax by a real fire under the string lights in the backyard while watching your favorite show on our outdoor TV. The community boasts 2 lakes, 3 pools, a gym, sauna and multiple lodges with activities for all ages. Play beach volleyball or tennis, or try your hand at pickleball.

Get cozy with your group in front of the fireplace on our huge sectional in the living room, complete with a stunning cathedral ceiling. Upstairs, a super cozy loft with an oversized bean bag provides the perfect place for kids or for relaxing and taking in the scenic views. The first floor features a snug master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, while two more bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a shared balcony await you on the second floor.

Head to the basement to enjoy some fun with your loved ones, with a shuffleboard table, Playstation, TV, bar, and Bluetooth speaker at your disposal. For extra guests, there's a queen-sized fold-out futon bed available.

Out on the deck, off the living and dining rooms, you can grill up a storm with the propane grill, relax on the outdoor couch with a fire table, or enjoy a game of cards on the two-person deer watching bar table. In the backyard, catch the game on our outdoor TV while staying warm around the real stone fire pit.

Not what we had hoped for

The place is mostly as advertised but there were some definite things we wish we had known before booking… there is no central air, there is one window unit in one upstairs bedroom and another in the kitchen (so none in two of the bedrooms), the one upstairs didn’t work too well and so the room my son was sleeping in and the downstairs bedroom were very hot. There was a fence on the back deck separating it from a set of stairs by the door that was not secured and my son went to grab it and it fell right over which is very dangerous. The yard was not kept up so wasn’t very usable. There was no sponge and only one roll of paper towels available which would’ve been helpful to know prior to arrival. In all honestly this maybe would’ve been a 4 star review if we hadn’t felt so pressured to leave a 5 star review by the host— they requested it in their check-out materials in several places asking us to leave 5 stars and just message them directly if there was anything we had a problem with. If we had known some of these things going in we may not have booked this place so just want to make others aware.

Warm homey ambiance

My husband, I and our 2 doggies just spent several relaxing days at the Lake Ariel Chalet. As we drove up to the chalet, right away we liked the fact that the driveway was large enough for multiple cars and a boat, and the house backed up to woods. Upon entering, we were felt the warm ambiance of a well loved family & friends vacation home. The chalet was clean and very roomy. There was plenty of space for folks and dogs to spread out upstairs and downstairs. The bed in the main floor bedroom was very comfy. The AC and ceiling fans worked great for the unexpected hot weather days. The hugh smart TVs were terrific. The spacious deck was fabulous. All in all it was a very relaxing stay.

April visit in the Poconos

Perfect house for the 4 of us. Evenings outside on the deck with the fire pit were delightful. Enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard. Walked around the neighborhood and met some other visitors. Plus took some nice hikes. Always ended the day in the game room with a spirited game of table shuffleboard. Absolutely no complaints. Thank you.

Great quick getaway to enjoy the solar eclipse.

The location is beautiful. Off the beaten path a bit but we expected that so we were prepared. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and our fur baby. Full of amenities that we appreciated. We will be back again soon!
