About this property

Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Walla Walla; this home is newly renovated with a large yard and swim-spa. This is an ideal location to unwind while visiting all that Walla Walla has to offer whether it is vineyards, family/friends or our fantastic downtown area.

Wheat and Wine is a completely renovated home located just south of downtown Walla Walla allowing for easy access to both downtown, the beautiful south side wineries, WW museum and fairgrounds, to name a few. It is a perfect place for a relaxing getaway with family and friends.

The open floor plan connects the kitchen with the living & dining space allowing for a comfortable and relaxing area to socialize in. A spacious couch is complemented by two Ekornes (Stressless) chairs for your comfort.

The kitchen contains all the appliances and tools needed to prepare gourmet meals during your stay including a food processor, Kitchen Aid mixer and a large complement of spices.

Each of the 3 bedrooms have queen beds with high quality cotton linens. The master has an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The 2 additional bedrooms share a main bath, all located on the opposite side of the house. One bedroom has sliding door access to the deck and has a murphy-bed that allows for the room to be used as a dedicated work/work-out space as well. The murphy-bed has a standard queen mattress and is just as comfortable as a standard bed frame. Yoga mats, weight-bench, and dumbbells are also located in the murphy-bed room.

The large deck overlooks a large back yard, gardens and the swim spa. A perfect place from which to enjoy a meal while watching the sunset or playing yard games. The teak dining set comfortably seats up to 10 people for al fresco dining, and the additional deck furniture allows for comfortable and cozy gatherings.

The fire-pit is just the perfect place to gather around in the evening to share stories and roast s'mores. Fire wood is located on property.

The swim spa comfortably sits up to 10 people for soaking and socializing. Equipment needed for use as an exercise swim spa is provided. There are cozy robes and slippers for guests to use as well (located in each bedroom).

Just off the kitchen is access to the laundry room and space to hang jackets and store shoes.

Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing pets (up to 2 housebroken, well behaved dogs are allowed. Pet fee is $100 per pet.

Fantastic!

The property was so enjoyable! We ended up not bringing our little dog due to the weather but we would have felt safe having her in the yard. We didn’t cook any meals but the kitchen looked well stocked. Great location!

Walla Walla relaxation

Wheat n Wine in Walla Walla is beautiful ; the weather was good so we were able to enjoy the yard but even on a not so nice day we could be out with the covered deck . The neighbors were helpful when I had a problem , I highly recommend Wheat n Wine . It’s a great location Walla Walla is a great place to visit.

Already Planning for Next Year!!

Where to begin! The property was exactly as shown. Great layout, beautiful backyard, lovingly appointed, with an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen. Close to golf courses, restaurants and downtown Walla Walla. The owners were very communicative in advance and during our stay. The huge hot tub was ready for us and came in very useful after our golf game. Coffee on the back deck overlooking a beautiful backyard was perfect for starting out the morning. Just a delightful experience from start to when we had to finally load up our clubs and the cases of wine we somehow purchased on our non-golf days.

This is the place to stay!

The house if very clean, well equipped and just ideal for a family. We were too busy to really enjoy the house, but this would be the house that I will look to stay at when I visit Walla Walla. The owner is just awesome too - responded within seconds when I had a question. You can just tell that they are great people!

We are Ben and Jeanne, an early retired couple from the Pacific NW. We took early retirement to travel the world which got severely disrupted during Covid (of course). We are back on the road and are renting our home that we have just completed renovating. We love traveling all over the world and welcoming new guests into our home.

Why they chose this property

Our home is in the "mid-century" end of a larger and wonderful neighborhood. It is in a fantastic location close to both vinyards and to downtown Walla Walla. We love that the neighborhood is a great "walking neighborhood" both for our own walks as well as the dozens of neighbors that walk by each week.

What makes this property unique

Our home is a renovated mid-century home. While the home is small in overall size, the 3-bedrooms, yard, and deck/spa areas pack a big punch in functionality. The home is quite comfortable and has anything one needs for an amazing stay in Walla Walla.
