About this property
GreeneStone - A relaxing home Shenandoah National Park
This is our vacation home that we share with others from time to time. What we enjoy the most is the calm, quiet feel along with plenty of space for guests. When we list our home, there is a strict limit of 6 people. If you plan on having "extra " people that would go above 6 people, our home is not the place. Please follow the rules and enjoy your stay.
Our home has been changed around a few times over the years and we love the current configuration! There is lots of natural light and plenty of space (2100 square feet). We have 4 acres that are fenced. The pool is surrounded by trees. During your summer stay, there will certainly be leaves, sticks and dirt that falls in the pool. There is a net next to the shed to remove debris. The water in the pool and hot tub is balanced weekly.
We are happy to accommodate your pets during your stay. Please do not leave them unattended either inside or outside. Our home is unfamiliar to them, and being alone will only add to their stress, which then might lead to a financially adverse outcome.
Our home is close to lots of local places. 6 minutes to Moss Vineyards, 7 minutes to Hark Vineyards, and 11 minutes to the local grocery store. For visiting Shenandoah National Park, it's a 18 minute easy drive. It's 21 minutes to the Charlottesville Airport, 34 minutes to Massanutten Resort, 90 minutes to Manassas or Richmond. These driving times are from an online map. By helicopter, the travel times are shorter.
We do have exterior cameras that cover the front and back yards. There also are some motion detection lights on the porch and between the house and garage.
It's best to leave the exterior lights off when not needed. Otherwise, you'll attract lots of bugs to the light. You are staying in the country, try to embrace the darkness and enjoy the stars.
