Badly equipped
The house is located relatively not far from the beach, and this was the only pro we can submit. Our drive to get there was over 10 hours and we were supposed to arrive around 1:30 pm. We contacted the owner the day before and asked her if we can check in earlier than 3 pm. She said sure, if the cleaning team will finish before then. When we came, the lights were on everywhere, the kitchen was clean, the AC was on. We left our bags and after eating lunch left to Walmart. Our son stayed at the house. Around 3:15 pm our son called and said that people opened the door and came inside of the house. No one called us and told us that cleaning crew was running late, especially since it was after the check in time. Our son was scared as he thought it was an intruder, and didn’t want to be alone in the house anymore. The kitchen was badly equipped. All pans were scratched,it was impossible to use them. The kitchen didn't have any pots, we had to buy new pans and pots, as well as mugs for coffee {majority were old and overused), potato masher, foil, dishwasher and laundry detergent, softener, and garbage bags (cleaning crew left only 3), bedsheets,towels,paper prod. The grill was in awful condition and we spent 40 minutes cleaning it. All mattresses are atrocious, very bad quality. Everyone complained that they were having back pain. The price for the house was lower compare to other houses but after spending money purchasing all necessary staff you wonder if it was really worth it?,
