Our little cabin reminded me of summer camp in the forests of Wisconsin. The cabin was built around 1930. It has been upgraded over the years. The sleeping porch is now the eating porch, with large double pain windows. We have left a few of the original divided-glass windows in other rooms, just to maintain the old time charm. The kitchen is small, with microwave, toaster oven, blender, stove/oven, refrigerator and coffee maker, of course. Recently the kitchen got a new coat of paint and change of color. We added a deck on the back the cabin. We provide starter TP and paper towels. Guests have commented that the California king bed is very comfortable. The cabin is a cozy place for two people who want to relax in a quiet (pine tree) neighborhood, hike or bike the many trails around Prescott. Deer pass through the yard almost year round. We get some snow in the winter.
The cabin is one mile from down town restaurants, shopping, and our famous Whiskey Row. Prescott is centrally located in Yavapai County. A photographer’s paradise with an average 360 days of sun and brilliant blue skies.
