Double booked

Arrived to find there was already another party at the house. Contacted host and he said he didn’t have me down for a reservation. So there we were at 8:00 PM with no place to stay and a $400 charge on my card. Rather than everyone being out another $150 for a hotel we just drove the 4 hours back home. And figuring out how to contact VRBO to try and get a refund has been a real pleasure. After being lectured that I should have contacted them last night when their goof up interrupted our trip they are now working on a refund. What a nightmare

Nice place, good view.

Very nice owner. Our only frustration was that it was not communicated to us the the dock and boat slip were unusable the majority of week. Otherwise Gary made every effort to make us comfortable.
