Our house is a block from the sound and less than 1/2 mile from the ocean with private access.

The beautiful 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom home sleeps 9 and is a ranch style home, no stairs. There's comfortable seating and a fully equipped kitchen, you will have all the comforts of home to enjoy your get-away. Enjoy the outside deck, grill and dining in the peaceful maritime forest. Beach toys provided. Perfect biking community for the family!

Family Togetherness!

Great place! Looks exactly like pictures. Size of the place was perfect for the 7 of us. We all 14 years to 69 years old. Well stocked except for an iron and hair dryer. We will love to return next year. Enjoyed the place , where it was situated and quietness of the neighborhood. Next time we'll stay longer. Need a sign in book!

About the host

We (Megan and Alex) fell in love with Pine Knoll Shores (PKS) right before we were married in 2013. We visited the area, regularly, and had a family friend who lived in the neighborhood. Fast forward to 2014, Megan’s parents bought the family friend’s beach house, and began visiting weekly, upwards to 40 weekends a year. Having grown up in Nags Head on the Outer Banks, Alex always hoped to one day, get out of the hustle and bustle of the Raleigh area and back to the coast. Pine Knoll Shores always reminded us of Nags Head, back in the early 90s, with minimal commercialism and visitors that truly enjoyed the natural beauty of the maritime forests. As their family began growing in 2017, Alex began to work remotely, which enabled them to make the move to PKS full time with their, then 1 year old daughter. Fast forward to now, we have two children (Jade, 6 and Zach, 4) who enjoy everything PKS and the area has to offer. As we open our home to you and your loved ones, we hope that you will find the many wonderful things about PKS that makes this area unique, and that you will make new memories that last a lifetime. Enjoy!

Why they chose this property

Originally from the Raleigh area, we enjoyed coming to pine knoll shores to unwind and relax. We made the decision to move because we feel in love with this neighborhood. It's a great area for riding bikes, heading to the beach, watch the sunsets at the marinas and just being around the family. Family friendly!
