Relax and enjoy the beauty of Muskie River Lodge, a 1920's historical Fishing Lodge complete with all the amnesties of today. We are Surrounded by 12 original cabins creating a surreal scene you would have to see for yourself to believe! After choosing your favorite bedroom with the best view, wander down to the original hardwood full size bar and make yourself a cocktail to enjoy, while taking in the gorgeous Northwoods sites of lake Alice.
Outside you will find three private docks walking you out over the sandy bottoms of the lake. World class fishing awaits, with access to a private boat landing located on the property. You can bring your own boat or rent one right down the road. There is a fire-pit to take-in the quite nights by a glowing fire, Grassy areas to play outdoor games. Basketball court along with a play ground and swing set. Included in your stay are two canoes, two kayaks and a paddle boat for your use. We provide charcoal grills, and a gas grill, incase you wanna spend all your time outside instead of in the kitchen.
If you need a break from the heat, enjoy the bar area thats loaded with entertainment; two shuffle board tables, pool table, darts, air hockey, pingpong, foosball, playstation 5 game council and a jukebox. When you are ready to turn in for the night, your cosy bed is made and ready for you. Crawl in and get a great nights sleep, wake up refreshed for another day of fun!
If you choose to explore the area, we are located 10 min from downtown Tomahawk, where there are
ski shows, a Root beer stand, mini golf, farmers market and much more. Minocqua is 30 minutes north which offers a Zoo and is a favorite of tourists for a day trip. We have 3 bars located within 1/4 of a mile, as well as 2 public golf courses within a short 5 minute drive. If you choose to visit in the winter, Rib mountain Ski area at Granite Peak offers some of the best skiing in the midwest and is only 30 minutes away. We also have access to snowmobile trails located right out your front door, as well as unlimited ice fishing opportunities.
