Enjoy water views from anywhere in this cape style home. The first floor living spaces include three unique living rooms for family to gather and enjoy. The first floor main bedroom suite includes a queen bed, and opens to the back deck and cove views beyond, with an attached bath. The custom kitchen and half bath are newly remodeled. Three additional bedrooms (2 queen beds and 1 twin) and a full bath round out the second floor. The three car garage has room for a car, and has a full gym available for use upstairs.

The island has a Private Beach and dock, as well as the best sunset views in town from Planting Island causeway. On-site laundry, bikes available for use, outdoor deck with table for dining, couch for lounging, and grill for cooking. Three car garage and two driveways allow for parking up to 6 cars.

Family reunited!

We needed a place close to family for a wedding. This location was perfect! Quiet, comfortable and a deck that was amazing. We would tell you to stay here when in Marion, you won’t regret it! A beautiful house to have rooms for gathering and other rooms for quiet and recharging. Thank you to Kat & Chris for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful Long-Weekend Getaway!

This house is lovely, spacious and one house over from the water on both sides (Planting Island). Lots of seating areas in the house to spread out, updated kitchen and AC in every room. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach and "cove" area. I spend time lounging on the beach, while my husband and son enjoyed the exploring and spotting wildlife on the cove side. The beach is rocky, so bring your water shoes, but the views and sunsets were spectacular! We loved it!

Wonderful getaway for family and puppy

Thank you for a relaxing summer getaway! We were thrilled to unwind with the pup and were able to easily drive to surrounding areas to visit extended family. We loved that: - Planting Island felt very private, quiet, and safe - The property is among a small number of homes on a walkable plot of land at the end of a causeway with private (rocky) beach access - It feels remote but is a quick drive into town for groceries, vet, liquor store, etc. - It has Cape vibes without the distance and traffic - We were able to safely walk the dog around the whole neighborhood with very few cars driving by - There was plenty of room in the driveway to park 3+ cars - The generous outside space with lawn and patio (though it's not fully fenced for others curious about bringing pups or little kids) - The house was clean and quiet - There is more than enough space to spread out and sit in various areas of the house. We only had 4 people but you could easily entertain many more - Neighbors were friendly and respectful Could use some love: - The fire pit was not working, we would've loved to use it since it was chilly when we visited - The kitchen is beautiful and spacious but is lacking some essentials (oven mitt, can opener, measuring cups/spoons, etc.) so we weren't able to do as much cooking as we'd hoped - The AC unit in the main upstairs bedroom has a harsh white light on it that shines brightly at night

Peaceful stay!

Our stay was everything we hoped for! The home inside and out was relaxing and peaceful, with great views of the water. The neighborhood was great for walking, sunsets on the beach and sitting by the water and the Marion beaches were only a short drive away. The outdoor space was great for coffee, dinner and games. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway by the water, with many options for activities nearby, we’d highly recommend!

Welcome to our home! We are Chris, Kat and Summer(4), Lily (3) and Tucker (1) and we are happy to share our private getaway with you. The ocean and the beach are one of our favorite places in the world. Having spent plenty of summers on Cape Cod growing up, we decided that we wanted our own piece of heaven on the water, but didn’t want to deal with the bridge or traffic. I hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

We purchased this house so that we could have the opportunity to gaze at the water whenever we'd like. You are on island time... but just a couple minute drive to town. Sitting on the back porch of the house feeling the breeze is one of the finer experiences in life.
