Lovely cottage by peaceful lake

We really enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy lake life. The water was warm enough to go for a swim. We spent our last evening by the campfire and watched the stars.

Perfectly Quaint and Equipped Clean Retreat

This was a wonderful place to stay. All of the things we want in a cottage: a beautiful location, a cosy space, books and board games etc. The cleanliness was off the hook. Even the baseboards were clean! The amenities included ample tea towels, dish soap, cleaning supplies, and basics that are often forgotten were easy to find (sharp knives, garlic press, cheese grater, hand mixer etc.) There are heaters and fans in all rooms and the water pressure in the shower was great. Very impressed and hope to be back.

Peaceful and beautiful

A little off the beaten path, this cottage was a great place to stay at, or explore from. Everything we needed to be comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat if we’re ever back this way.

Beautiful Getaway!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this lake cottage! The setting was beautiful and very relaxing. The cottage I was equipped with everything needed and quite cozy. The location is central in the Annapolis Valley, making it a great base for exploring the region. John made staying there easy and we definitely recommend this property!

Perfect getaway in Paradise

We came for a relaxing vacation away from our home in PEI, and found the perfect version of that here. The cottage and facilities were exactly as advertised...better perhaps! And the house has so much character, it felt like being home. There were also a number of little surprises - things that were thought of and provided that were delightfully unexpected. The wifi worked perfectly and made staying in touch with loved ones possible when needed. We can't think of anything we might have been lacking, Our host John was easy to communicate with, and was very accommodating. The best part of being here was being able to just sit on the deck, enjoy the silence (broken only by the sound of the water, and occasional bird or distant human :) ), and take in the spectacular view. We would most certainly return again for another retreat, and are already considering another trip next summer!
