About Jerri McLerran
As a descendant of some of the first German immigrant settlers of Fredericksburg, I am excited to share this historic homestead. Careful and extensive restoration work in 2008 exposed the unique and eccentric beauty of this 19th century pioneer home. My hope is that guests will enjoy the architecture that represented home to generations of Auswanderers.
Jerri McLerran purchased this House in 1993

A true gem with rustic charm
This is a great place to unwind and enjoy. The house is historical and on a lot with huge trees, an outdoor hot shower and all the amenities needed for a weekend away. My whole family loved it.
Cute and quiet
Very cute little property that was the perfect place to hang out after a long day exploring Fredericksburg.
It was fantastic. Owner thought of everything! Comfortable beds, comfortable space, adorable house, within walking distance of everything on Main. Absolutely wonderful!
Excellent location, excellent property
We took a family vacation to Fredericksburg. The property was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. The history of Fredericksburg is incredible and this house is a part of it. Dating back to the 1860's, the home started as a log cabin and was added onto over the next couple of decades. The house strikes a great balance between the charm of the 19th century and modern amenities. The house is within walking distance of Main Street and all of the major attractions within town. Would definitely stay here again.
We have just stayed at Friday Haus and it could not have been better.
The "house" was clean with supplies of toiletries. The outside shower was a great hit with us.
We were worried about the recent rains but Jerri answered all our enquiries speedily. We were very lucky not to have any rain, during our stay.
Fredricksburg is a great little town, Do the two step at "Hondos" and have a great steak at the "Crossroads Saloon". Take a trip to Luckenburg.
We would definatley recommend this property.
Perfect for a Famiy of Four!
My family recently stayed here over the weekend. I have 2 children, ages 11 and 16. They both loved this house and it was plenty big for the four of us. The home also has a claw foot tub with a handheld shower, but for the adventurous type the outside shower was more fun. My children are already asking when we can go back. The history of the home takes you back to the 1800s. It's such a calming, peaceful home. You could tell the owner takes great care to make sure everything is perfect for you.
In the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Fredericksburg is famous for great shopping, restaurants, festivals, wineries, and much, much more. Numerous nearby State and local parks offer the experience of this natural world, and art and history museums provide glimpses of the unique cultural experiences of the area.
