Perfect home and hostess

We got stuck in a holiday pinch for space and Nancy rescued me, my husband, our 3 week old, two dogs, and our cat for Christmas! We cant express how lovely the home is and how welcome we felt staying there. This area is lovely especially around Christmas with all of the lights. Even the cleaning lady was especially sweet to us and did our daughter's laundry. The home is perfectly clean, organized, and stocked with supplies for a long-term stay. It just feels like a luxurious, warm, family home.

It served a purpose. Wouldnt use again

The house is old. The tvs are old. The one in the family room doesnt even work. We were totally ripped off with our deposit. She claimed we broke a lock ( the door was pushed open when we got there). We had moved the furniture on thanksgiving and forgot to move it back ( literally switched a couch around to see the tv we had to bring down from the bedroom on thanksgiving) and she charged me to have somone slide the couchs back to the position they were in. We left and obviously closed the door but forgot to put the code in and she claimed the door blew open ( funny how it never blew open the 9 days we were there) and she charged me To clean leaves that had supposably blown in the foyer. We had to clean all the drawers in the kitchen they had silver fish in them and there were cockroaches in the kitchen. She needs an exterminator. The house says it sleeps 12 but its 11 max and thats cause they have 3 twin beds in one room The only thing good about this house is its location

Excellent Visit

My extended family was in town for a long weekend celebrating my son’s SMU college graduation. We had relatives in from all over the country and things could not have worked out better at this wonderful property. There were 8 of us in total and the accommodations were perfect. The location was also perfect ..... beautiful Highland Park neighborhood located less than 5 minutes from the SMU campus and easy access to Dallas proper as well. Our host, Nancy, was fantastic and she bent over backwards to make our visit a great one. For, example, the day we arrived 1 of the 3 main A/C units “froze out” as the local temperature was 90+ degrees. The result was that 3 of the bedrooms had no A/C, which was going to be a major problem. Within a few hours of arriving day one, Nancy had an A/C repair guy show up and long story short, she had 3 brand new window units installed in the 3 bedrooms that were impacted. We all slept great and the fact she dealt with this difficult situation in just a few hours was incredible. We were very appreciative and impressed. Since our son will be working full-time in Dallas we will be back! Thank you, Nancy.

Stay was great.

The stay was great! Nancy was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful house. The only criticism I would have is that there were no tissues in the house, and we could not get the Direct TV to work. This was not a big deal since it was a working trip, but it would have been nice. But overall a very good experience.
