Five minute walk to Lake Michigan beaches, seven minutes walk to Fishtown. Fly fishing in nearby rivers, lakes, ponds and creeks. Golf. Hiking. Biking. Miles of secluded beaches. Ask a questionAbout Greg Chapman
My family loves the outdoors, I spent summers as a kid in Northern Wisconsin where I learned to love the North Woods, and traveled to every corner of the US. Leland is the best place I've ever seen for the greatest variety in outdoor activity. Leelanau Peninsula brings families together. Never boring, always something new to see and do. Friends and family marvel at the spectacular scenery and wealth of outdoor activity, great food and wineries in Leelanau County. Every day is a new adventure if you seek it. Bring lots of friends and family or just yourself and you will not run out of things to do.
Greg Chapman purchased this house in 2004
Why Greg Chapman chose Leland
We bought home #35267 after years of vacationing in Leelanau County. It is the one place we can all agree to get away to. M22 is not just a road in Paradise, its a way of life. We never run out of things to do, and always regret not having more time to spend up here. Everything is just minutes away. You don't even need a car! In Leland, we can walk anywhere--and we do. You can market shop every day, walk to the beach, library, parks, Fishtown, the Mercantile, school, and restaurants. You will ask yourself why you don't live here! Leland and the Leelanau Peninsula gets in your blood, and how many places can really do that for you? We knew this was THE place for us after our first visit in 1997. In fact, we wanted more room for our family and friends so we built another home next door. Our primary rental property is #35267. We use House #829083 for our own family.
What makes this house unique
A short walk to everything we want to enjoy, including shops, Fishtown and beaches. Walk to Fishtown along Lake Street while you look out over the bluffs of Lake Michigan. No need for a car. Our location leaves more time for fun, less time spent getting from here to there and back again. It makes for a very efficient, hassle-free vacation. The houses are set up to accommodate two-four families or a very large group, with combined total of 13 beds and two futons, 6 1\2 bathrooms. Lots of dining space, indoors and out on the deck. Large kitchens, plenty of beds, cool shade and proximity to Fishtown.
