Decent stay, communication needs improvement
Our families were excited to head to the mountains for something different this summer. This cabin appeared to fit our needs for 4 adults and 4 children. Upon arrival it was a little confusing finding the cabin due to poor cell signal impacting the navigation. However, once we found the cabin, we were happy to go inside. Overall, the stay was good. However, a few days in, we discovered that we weren't able to change any of the settings on the hot tub due to the panel being damaged. The cover was also broken and very hard to remove. The following day I messaged the property manager and didn't get a response. So I called 3x and then got an answer. The next day he visited the cabin to check it out and my brother in law was there. He was told that basically it had been like that and that it was "still usable." Maybe for a few minutes but not for any amount of time as the water quickly cools off when the cover is removed. We were disappointed with the lack of concern and lack of any attempt to fix it, give a partial refund, etc. My understanding is that it had been broken for awhile - definitely false advertising and we payed a lot for the week rental. A few other things to note, one of the fridge drawers was cracked pretty badly and hard to open. We had a mix of cooking in and eating out and we very quickly noted the poor lighting in the kitchen. The addition of under cabinet lighting would be great. Overall, a good stay but disappointed with the hot tub and lack of response.
