Bring your large group of family or friends to The Cabin if you are looking to hike, relax, or check out the many wineries, cideries, restaurants, and breweries in Nelson County. You can comfortably sleep 18. It is located in an extremely serene environment, but close to small grocery stores, local restaurants, wineries, cideries, and breweries., and hikes. The view off the back deck is breathtaking and the home offers many spots for everyone to relax and enjoy.
The space
You will enter into the large living area and dining room. The living area has a wood burning fireplace and large tv and stunning views of the valley below and the mountains. The dining table seats 8 comfortably. There is a half bath off of the living/dining area. From the dining room you enter into the spacious fully equipped kitchen. There is a laundry room for your use off of the kitchen. Downstairs in the basement are 2 bedrooms. One has a full pullout sofa and the other has 2 bunkbeds with queen beds on the bottom and twins on top. There are also 2 single beds in this room. The basement includes a large living area with sofas, a small table with 2 chairs, and a full bath with a shower (no tub). In the garage you will find a ping pong table that is sure to be fun for all! On the top floor of the home there are 2 queen bedrooms each with their own attached full bathrooms. The lofted area includes a game/poker table with seating for 10. There are two more queen bedrooms on this level as well as a full bathroom.
Guest access
The neighborhood is easy to drive with street names well marked. It is great for walking and exploring as well. The driveway can easily park multiple vehicles. Guests have access to the home and surrounding property.

Mountain/Skiing Trip

Wow, what a gorgeous home! So spacious, enough room for our two families with space to spare. We had a great time skiing nearby and also ventured out to Charlottesville. The backyard was great for the little ones to explore. Booking was easy and all communication with the host was OUTSTANDING! She’s really a n top of everything and made things effortless for us. I can’t praise the host and owners of the property enough. We just had an amazing weekend here and would definitely love to come back.
