Casita set in a more peaceful area on the outskirts of Panajachel, Lake Atitlan, near the Puente Ubico. Close to town (5-10 mins in a tuk tuk or 20-30 min walk).
Relax away from the hustle and bustle of central Pana, but close enough to everything you might need, including public docks for boats to other villages.
There are dogs in the next door property!
The space:
This small casita is in the grounds of a larger house, so the owners are near by if needed.
The casita has just recently been finished with renovations to turn it into a rental.
Perfect location for someone who wants a quieter place, with WiFi, to relax, work, paint, or just simply use as a base to explore the whole amazing Lake Atitlan area!
It offers an open-plan living space with a fully-equipped kitchen, sofa, dining table and chairs for 4, a TV with HDML cable if you want to watch movies/Netflix on a bigger screen than your laptop! (Please ask for this.)
A private bedroom with a comfortable Queen bed and cupboard. Plus, a shower with gas hot water in the separate bathroom.
The house is close to the centre of Pana but well away from the noise of the traffic and churches!
There are dogs next door that do woof! You won't see them, but you might hear them!
Guest access:
Someone will be there to greet guests and to give them keys to the house.
It is therefore important to give an arrival time at least 24 hours in advance. And if possible be in contact via telephone.
Other things to note:
The first garafon (5 gallon) jug of water is complimentary. After this, guests are responsible for paying for their own drinking water. The guardian of the main house can fetch this for you if you give them Q20.
The first tambo of gas is complimentary for the hot water and stove (1 x 25lb gas tank for each). If it runs out within the first week, we will replace it. After that, then the guest is responsible for replacing this. At present, the price is approx Q140.
