The Space:
Welcome to Ring Farm Retreat, your idyllic spot on Carter’s Creek close to all the fun and action in this charming and friendly area. As you enter the living room, the first thing you'll notice is the thoughtfully selected decor. Eclectic modern meets nautical inspired by the river towns around us. The living room is the perfect space to gather without other distractions. No television in here means more time spent talking, playing games, and making memories. Try some shuffleboard or bowling!

COMMON ROOMS
From the living area you enter the dining room. With seating for 6 around the table and an additional 4 at the breakfast bar right in the neighboring family room, there is ample seating for everyone. The family room has a television making it a prime spot for movie night. Or gather around with some board games. The oversized windows here bring the outside in and give you a great viewing point of the water and dock! Adjacent is a wonderful home office with a large desk, comfortable chair, and even a large monitor so you can get those Zoom calls in between kayaking and paddleboarding around the cove.

BEDROOMS
The primary bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with glass shower. It adjoins the queen bedroom with a pocket door. Pull it closed for privacy or throw it open to chat with family and friends late into the evening. The bathroom in the hallway has a shower/tub combination.

Further down the hall, you find the bunk room a great space for the kids - two sets of bunk beds means everyone has space! Many ghost stories have been told here.

OUTSIDE
Beyond the home there is still fun to be had! Go out to the fire pit and roast some s'mores. Or have a BBQ out on the lawn while playing a friendly match of corn hole. Keep down the path to the dock, and you'll find 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards you're welcome to use. *Please note any water/dock activities are at the users own risk and Harmonized Getaways does not accept any liability.* Grab a life vest and set out to explore the cove by kayak. Put some chicken necks in the crab pot and catch dinner, or the kids can have fun with catch and release. Or simply lounge on the dock under the umbrella with a book taking in the wildlife and the quiet cove.

Looking for an outing? Head over to Irvington and enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants. Most of the seafood is locally sourced and delicious! Or head to the water's edge and join a charter excursion by boat. There are so many great local parks for nature lovers, and fun markets frequently on the weekends for those more crafty. Come see why people love VA's Northern Neck and return year after year! Add to your Wish List or Book Now!

You will have access to the entire property and dock (sailboat not included).Entry is via a smart lock and the code is conveyed on the morning of check-in.

The Neighborhood:
The Northern Neck:
Virginia's Northern Neck is a peninsula surrounded by unique and beautiful marshes, creeks, the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay. You'll find many opportunities to explore all the nooks and crannies and get out on the water.

For dinner you could whip up a gourmet meal in the large and fully stocked kitchen, or head to the River Market for takeout lunch or dinner. From fresh bread, pastries, and cookies daily to soups, sandwiches, salads, pizza, ribs, crab cakes, crab boils, and barbecue, they have options everyone is sure to enjoy. They also have a full selection of imported cheeses, wines, and beer.

In the evenings, your entertainment can be as simple as stargazing with our telescope, or head down the road to the Windmill Point Tiki Bar for drinks, dinner, and a beautiful sunset to cap off the night.

When you're ready to explore White Stone more fully, you will be surprised that this quaint rural town offers many gastronomical and cultural opportunities. Fine dining at Adrift - a restaurant owned and operated by a local trained at the Inn at Little Washington - is not to be missed.(Make a reservation). Also, visit the Allure Art Center, take in a show at the Lancaster Playhouse, pick up fresh farm items at local farmers' markets and small shops, and grab some house made donuts at Chesapeake Donut Shop.

For rainy days, head over to Compass Entertainment in nearby Irvington. This amusement center has indoor games, putt-putt, go-karts, a climbing wall, a movie theater, a bar, and a restaurant. In winter, skate at their ice rink! Kids of all ages love it!

You may also enjoy exploring the Northern Neck and its many designated "Trails," such as the Oyster Trail, the Wine Trail, the Water Trail, the Artisan Trail and, not to be outdone, the Coastal Waterfowl Trail.

Just a short list of the many things to do and see in the Northern Neck. So, relax here, where you are more likely to rub elbows with oystermen and artists than lawyers and lobbyists. Ring Farm Retreat beckons you to slow down, breathe the salt air, and live like a local. You may even decide to become one.
