Worse experience on VRBO in 5 years
When i arrived at the property it looked nice from the outside, but once I entered it was really bad. The pictures might have been from when the home was first purchased but it doesnt look like that now. There was trash in boxes in the backyard, the back door didnt latch, a chain was the only thing holding it. The basement that was supposed to be extra space didnt even have stairs to code and looked like Freddy resided there. Pool table would have been an awesome feature, except it was dirty and had stains all over it. There was a blood stain on the wall, the kitchen table had stains all over, the walls are dirty, the only shower was dirty. The shower curtain had blood, and I dont care to guess what else on it. The beds were blocking the spare bedrooms, they moved them to cover the stains on the floor, light switches didnt work to even get to the master. Just overall horrible experience. Reached out to the property manager sent all the pictures to them and VRBO, advsied I didnt feel safe to stay there. No response. VRBO had an hour hold time, they were not any help as they advised this property was individually managed and not by them, then I was told they are only a advertisement site, they tried to reach out to the propety owners and recieved no response. The next day the listing was removed and I recieved threats from the numbers I was given by VRBO to contact them, they were going to call the police for harrasment. Complete and utter nightmare. I have stayed in 20+ VRBO
