Set amongst hundreds of acres of forest and farmland, find peace as you enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the landscape. Take a walk in the woods out your front door. Work remotely with the high speed fiber optic internet! 15 minutes to Okemo and Ludlow, 10 to the quaint villages of Chester and Proctorsville. 25 to Magic Mountain, Mount Ascutney, and 30 to Weston and Londonderry.

Great cozy cabin in the woods

Nice small one-room cabin in the woods. The road is dirt and could have been difficult to traverse in snowy weather without 4-wheel drive, but was fine when we visited.

Relaxing

Peaceful, great energy, great location

Awesome little cabin for two people. It is in the woods so just be mindful of that if it's snowing. It was close to Okemo which was super convenient for skiing. Lots of board games and cooking tools. Very peaceful.

Quiet with all amenities

The cabin was perfect for our stay, well appointed, and the property manager was very accommodating and quick to respond with all our questions. We’d consider staying again

We're from the Boston area, and it had long been a dream of ours to build a cabin in Vermont, and now we have made that dream come true! Our favorite activities here are skiing at Okemo, swimming at Buttermilk Falls, and hiking all of the incredible trails in the area.

Why they chose this property

The cabin is set on an idyllic Vermont country road - unpaved, lined with 200-year-old stone walls, and surrounded by farms and forest. We love that it feels so remote, and is so quiet, yet it is only 15 minutes from Okemo, and from myriad other outdoor recreational opportunities!

What makes this property unique

For about the same price as a single hotel room, guests get the entire property to themselves! What's more, while most "tiny houses" only sleep 1-2 people, as a family of five, we have designed the space to accommodate 4-5 people (though we limit it to 4 for guests, as it is pretty tight with 5!), making it a unique and cost-effective way for a family to travel and stay in a very special and magical place.
