A true escape!
Great location and incredible views from the two decks! Facing southwest so the sunsets were amazing!
loved the sauna in the downstairs bathroom!
water pressure and hot water availability was excellent considering there were six of us.
sharp knives in the kitchen were great for cooking; nice stove and counter space.
conveniently located considering how remote we felt when we were in the house.
When we arrived, we discovered that an audio cable for the Bose system wasn't working. We put in a maintenance call and the new cable was there the next morning. We appreciate the responsiveness.
Just as a general suggestion for such a high end place: have your staff check things like the audio cable, dishwasher basket, sliding doors (mechanical stuff) just for good measure.
Very satisfied and happy group.
stunning views / fantastic house
We had our kids that live in CA join us for my husbands 60th birthday. We stayed here for four days. Amazing accommodations, views and overall fantastic experience. Would highly recommend staying here.
Outstanding executive retreat
We had three couples at the house for the weekend. Amazing architecture and finishes. Kitchen fully furnished. Comfortable sofa. Three bedrooms with comfortable beds and three baths. Everything you could need for a great getaway at a good price relative to other properties in the area. And the Views!!! Waking up with coffee on the deck with the views was the icing on the cake. Only a few concerns. Lots of stairs, especially to the garage. Not appropriate for folks who have issues with stairs. Also, the upstairs is open to the downstairs bedroom. No way to close the door to cut out the sound. Put your folks that go to bed last in the downstairs bedroom and you will have no problem. Highly recommended.
Great stay at Executive Retreat
beautiful property, good location, great time!
An incredible retreat where the actual experience was better than the photos!
This property feels isolated from the world but is conveniently located ~10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and 15 from the beach. Also, the fact that it is a three bedroom, 3 bathroom house was ideal for 3 couples staying there. My family and I will be coming back to this spot! It’s perfect.
The home was great! Excellent location. Close to everything. Very quiet neighborhood. Peaceful feel to the home. My favorite part of the home was the outdoor patio. With a view of the ocean, the 6 of us gathered there every morning for coffee and conversation. It was very special. We also made very good use of the fireplace, in the evenings. The view of the city lights at night was breathtaking. We cooked in for some of our meals, and we dined out at The Harbor Restaurant on the pier, Los Agaves on Milpas, The Worker Bee Café in Carpinteria, and had REALLY good coffees at Pascucci on State Street. The only issue for us was there are stairs leading from the garage to the house, and there are stairs with no handrails from the street to the house, and the hard wood floors are a little slippery. It was fine for the younger folks, but my 88 year old father was pretty nervous at times. Two of the beds are low to the floor. This isn't an ideal house for an elderly couple, but for anyone else, it is really perfect. I would definitely stay again, and I would recommend it to my friends, for sure.
