About this property

Our Apartments 1827 & 1828 are ideal for double couples or families of 3-4 (min. age 12).

You get 2 adjacent Apartments each with queen beds, kitchen, bathroom, TV, A/C and spectacular mountain views.

Each Apartment is separately lockable for privacy if you wish, and also can be kept open for companionship with your friends or family.

Your exclusive use, lockable Entrance Hall is great for storing luggage, shopping, cases of wine, etc.

The space
Apartments 1827 & 1828 have an incredible view of Table Mountain (one of the seven natural wonders of the world).

You can wake up to the sunrise illuminating this beautiful mountain (along with her siblings Devil's Peak and Lion's Head. Or, the remotely controlled blackout blinds let you choose to sleep in if you wish.

Both Apartments have NO LOAD SHEDDING and fast, free and always-on internet access.

The Apartments' windows do not open (mainly due to the Cape of Storms' notoriously powerful and often gale-force South-Easter, aka the Cape Doctor). Instead, you have personally controllable air-conditioning to ensure your comfort at all times.

The kitchenettes each feature a sink, microwave, oven, stove-top and mini-fridge.

The big-screen, high-definition TV has Netflix (no DSTV).

The entire building has 24-hour security.

There is a compact yet luxurious outdoor swimming pool with an extensive wooden deck and benches, tables and umbrellas.
Guest access
Either my wife Lisa or I will meet you on your arrival, as we have to sign you in to the building to get you your access card. Thereafter, you merely need to use the access card to enter the lift foyer.

When you checkout, please leave your access card with the person behind the One Thibault Welcome Desk on the ground floor.
Other things to note
Uber is by far the best way to get around the city (and to and from Cape Town International Airport. From the airport, your Uber destination is "Wink One Thibault").

There is also a MyCiti bus stop directly outside One Thibault which offers convenient travel options to various places in the city.

Walking is generally safe by day (but as in all cities be alert and aware). At night, rather take an Uber.
