HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Booked this place on 2/2/24 to stay for the weekend. Recd all info from VRBO verifying confirmation of stay up to the day of stay. Arrived at location, met by son of owner who then called mother who claimed they hadn’t rented out nor received payment for the weekend (was a Festival reason for stay) then the father (male owner) shows up at the home stating they don’t have this/his property on this website nor do they rent it. Shows me his boat in the yard, asks me out of curiosity what VRBO was asking for it. After contacting and spending 4hrs on the phone with VRBO, they say this owner FORGOT TO MAKE YHIS PLACE INACTIVE which speaks volumes of the person or persons who actually RENT THIS HOUSE OUT 203 GRANGER!! Reason for address female owner originally said she owned 236 GRANGER!! Thankfully I have family that owns several places in Steinihatchee and we had a place to stay. Received a refund and I’m sorry only from VRBO!!
