Great location. House needs work.
Pros: great location close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Comfortable beds. If you are into watching boats go by, this is a great spot. Ping pong table was a plus. Cons: the house is for listed for sale and it’s essentially being advertised as a tear down. The house is dated (not in a cool mid-century/Palm Springs preservation way). The kitchen is not well stocked, half the drawers don’t work, and the kitchen/appliances are subpar for the nightly rental rate (who still uses an electric coiled stove cook top?). There are no screens on any of the windows which forces you to have the air conditioning on even when the temperatures are cooler (if you leave the doors open you will have to contend with mosquitos). The interior lighting is excessively bright and should be on dimmers. Some of the showers are original size and so tiny they are hard to use without bumping into the walls and doors. There is a huge new house construction project going on one house over that is loud and busy. The water heater struggled to keep up with basic showers.
We rent a lot of short term rentals and this one was just sort of meh.
