Cottage, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
Retirement has arrived! We hope to be here to host you or we maybe off on our own adventures. Either way we LOVE sharing our slice of paradise here in Walla Walla.
Meredith purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Meredith chose Walla Walla
Our daughter choose to attend Whintman, and we're glad she did! We fell in love with this property and have been working towards improving it since. It has been a labor of love! We've enjoyed rescuing and restoring this Bungalow style 1950's era multi unit property. The gardening is the best part! We are preparing to sell this property soon. Our dream would be to sell it to a past or future guest.
What makes this Cottage unique
We like walking around our neighborhood; to the ballpark on summer evening for a ball game; to the bakery in the morning for fresh bread, or the Farmers Market for veggies. A bike ride up Mill Creek is a must do, if you have your bike along on your stay. Soak your feet in the cool creek on a hot day. And a Theater performance seems always to be in production. So much to do and so little time.

Wonderful cottage -- everything we needed!
What a gem! Great neighborhood, easy to get in and out of, and very clean/quiet! The property was very roomy for my husband and I -- very well stocked too! The bed was comfy and bath towels were great quality. The owner placed fresh roses in the living room for us to enjoy during our stay ~ what a nice surprise! Can't wait to come back in the spring/summer to enjoy the creek and lovely garden located on the property.
A peaceful hideaway
As always we enjoyed our visit to WallaWalla and the cottage. I am looking forward to our next visit!
Large roomy charming cottage
Completely well equipped cottage for long stay, unfortunately we could only stay two nights and wished we could stay longer. Large very comfortable king size bed. All furnishings and decorations fit cottage just right.
Quiet cottage in Walla Walla
Nice quiet location and clean cottage. Well laid out homey. Nice neighborhood. Maybe the best kept secret in Walla Walla?
summer week at whitman
I had looked at the online pictures of the cottage, but when we walked in my impression was that it was much nicer than the pictures. We mainly ate breakfast there, but the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. It was nice to take a break from the 90 degree heat in the afternoon in the AC. 2-3 blocks from most of our meetings on the campus so easy to get back and forth.
Canning supplies available in kitchen. Shop the farmers market, then preserve all that goodness back at the Cottage!
