Cozy Apartment in Great Location

VRBO once again delivered with a nice apartment, in a nice area. Property manager Diego was extremely responsive to questions and concerns. Apartment was clean and we felt very safe in this building. One suggested improvement would be to eliminate the 3rd party billing and simply allow a renter to click "confirm" button and they are done. Having the billing and payment process separate from the reservation process is time consuming and creates unneccessary emails/texts/bank calls. Otherwise a nice gem in Barranquilla.

Unprofessional and stupid

Landlord makes paying for property extremely difficult. Instead of guests simply clicking to pay vrbo a few days later tenant has to know to ask landlord for alternatives with their bank or “3rd party billing software”. Vrbo also temporarily takes payment until this is completed. We wired money however friday was a bank holiday. On the monday landlord demanded another payment. We refused and provided screenshot of wire leaving our bank. They called police and told us to leave by noon on Monday. Lawyer said not to as you cannot be evicted for a fully paid for apartment. Banking holidays do not count. Stay away - plenty of other options
