2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6
We loved staying in this condo in North Coast Village. It was a great location and everything was as described. We had one issue with the dishwasher and the property management came and addressed it immediately. Our kids loved how close we were to the beach and also enjoyed the warm pool.
Very family friendly amd safe within the property. The beach access is easy. y
We will definitely return to this property.
We’ve stayed at ncv before and will again great layout and location just secs from the beach or pool
Great place the vacation with the family good restaurants and lots of activities near by or just hang out and enjoy the beach and pool our condo was clean and comfortable with beach toys for the kids and lots of towels check in and out was easy and the owners were very accommodating with our schedule that changed several times the only thing we would like to see improved is the temp in the pool needs to go up 5 degrees but that’s not really one owners responsibility
Clean but needs updating
North Coast Village is a great overall property. We have stayed on this property several times and have truly enjoyed it. This specific condo was clean but in desperate need of updating. Paint is peeling off of the walls in one of the bathrooms, rust can be seen on the heater, the couch has significant tear and wear marks, the shower heads are extremely low in the shower, etc. Again, we love North Coast Village but were disappointed in the overall presentation of this unit.
Love N Coast village. Steps to beach and lovely.
Great room and facility is wonderful
Property Needs updating and better lighting
The unit was in a nice location and had great views, however with no a/c, the windows although letting in a lot of light with 4 large sections of glass, only have one section of the 4 panes of glass that opens for air flow so these windows do not allow for much air flow. The floor fans helped but were loud. The carpet should be removed, very dated. The lighting in the living room and bedrooms insufficient. There were no accessible outlets by the night stands for charging phones or such. There was no owners book in the unit to explain how to operate light and ceiling fan over dining table or offer complex info.
The master bathroom is obviously the original which is very old, tub is discolored as are tub doors and track and shower head is mounted at 5'2" so if you are tall its challenging. There were cracked tiles in the shower and the vanity is very low, so again if a tall person - lot of bending over, not the current height most modern vanities are built to which is 36" ctop height.
The kitchen sink faucet did not swing from basin to basin, very stiff. Owner should replace can opener as it was impossible to open can of pears with the flimsy one in unit. The sofa squeeks and also seems to be in need of replacing. It was nice having beach chairs and boogey boards available.
However, this was my 6th time staying a NCV and this unit by far was the MOST dated. All other units I've stayed in have replaced the kitchens completely with new cabinets and counter tops and the bathrooms all had been completely renovated with no tub but large shower stall and new cabinets and counter tops.
I would not stay here again unless assured that the issues stated above were resolved.
I'm also a vac. rental owner and I appreciate feedback. This owner should lower their nightly rate to equal the quality of accommodations they are offering. The owner should not charge similar rates to other unit owners that have updated their units and offer higher quality amenities.
