This is Not a Real Listing - Scam Property

We never even had the opportunity to stay at this property, as we weren't able to check-in. After not receiving the check-in instructions from the property owner, we reached out multiple times, each with no response. First, we reached out prior to the check-in time, stating we hadn't received info on how to access the property and asked if they could provide it. After no response, we reached out again about an hour after the listed time, but before we had arrived at the property, nothing. Since we had to be in town for an event the following morning, we still drove to the property hoping we would hear from them or would still be able to access the property somehow. We reached out one final time at almost 9 pm, as we were arriving. They still did not respond and the phone number they had linked to the property also did not exist. If all of this wasn't enough, when we did finally arrive there was already someone in the unit. We knocked, but no one answered. However, multiple dogs were barking on the other side of the door. VRBO has not yet been helpful in resolving this issue. It is unlikely we will book through VRBO again.
