Why Chuck Richardson chose Pawleys Island
The location, creek and beath taking views speaks volu mes of why we were so enthralled over this piece of paradise. Pawleys Island and the surrounding area is so beautiful and almost accessable to anything one might need. i have found the residence to be very pleasant, curtious and always willing to lend a hand. The day I purchased the home the seller made a profound statement that has been a continious reminder over the years as to why we chose the home and and have continued to stay as often as we can. Her statement was that every day that she woke up in this wonderful home she felt like she was on vacation.

Great location, beautiful views!
We had a wonderful week in this gorgeous house with our children and grandchildren...there was something to do for everyone. We fished, kayaked, walked, and managed to fit in some beach time on tops of all that! We highly recommend it for a fun family getaway.
Property was clean, check in was easy
This house is great! Beautiful view, perfect location. Stayed here with 2 other families and the big wrap-around porch & dock were so nice to have. We fished and kayaked (bonus they have so many!) and rode our bikes around Pawleys. Will definitely rent this house again!
Shore home with the Million Dollar view close to everything!
The property is what I would call a shore shanty, a bit dated, but nice inside.
The character and feel of this home was awesome! The Location is the best! Close to everything in the area. Then there was the million dollar unobstructed view over the marsh and parleys island. We were golfers, so we didn't do much fishing, but you could right off the dock. one of our mates started with blood worms to catch bait, then caught a flounder off the dock. I took one of the kayaks around the marsh at low tide to see the sod banks up close. Egrets, ibis, and ospreys shared the paddle as small crabs and bait were everywhere in the shallows. Then the best part for our group was the huge screened porch to sit and smoke the daily cigars after our golf rounds. This area because of the bug free environment was utilized every day of our stay. I could see longer stays at this home and be very comfortable!
We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here next year!!
Great property. Great owner. Easy!
This property makes your entire stay in Pawleys Island convenient and enjoyable.
Fantastic relaxing family retreat
This home is made for enjoying time together with ample meeting areas inside and out and ample bedrooms for bringing a group or family together. We had dinners together on the screen porch overlooking the water with just amazing views! The location is a good walk to to beach; I would suggest driving and driving all the way to the south end. There is plenty to do without going to the beach. We used the kayaks. We fished. We traveled to Brookgreen. You do need to bring your own games. The house has few to none. It is also next to the bridge and though there is a fence separating this property from the bridge and landscaping to hide it, for those looking for complete privacy, this isn't it. It is walkable to a wonderful restaurant , The Chive Blossom. The beds were very comfortable. One note is that the upstairs master suite does not have a door on it. It is the whole floor and noise from the downstairs does drift upwards. The downstairs apartment allows for a great deal of privacy. The arrangement of rooms allows for many couples to be in the same house together without a problem. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for cooking. We did have a some problems on check in: a door that wouldn't open, a broken bed and a garbage disposal that did not work ( which meant the dishwasher did not work) but the owner came swiftly and attended to these problems. This is not a new house but it is an extremely enjoyable house to stay in. I wish I could post pictures of the view out the wrap around front porch. It was spectacular!
The Waccamaw River is on the West side of HWY 17 and the creeks and Ocean are on the East side. There are endless possibilities for local activites. There are also many historic sites, nature parks, shopping, dining, Huntington State Park, Myrtle Beach State Park, Brookgreen Gardens and all the entertainment of The Grand Strand is only a short drive away.
