About this property

New! Cozy, private cabin next to the pond! Fishing! Firepit! Air hockey!

Welcome to The Fishin' Hole, our cabin by the pond!
Our 2-bdrm/2-bath cabin is perfect for a couple's getaway, a small family, or a few friends wanting to enjoy one another's company.
Enjoy your coffee on the rocking chair front porch that overlooks the pond, relax in the hot tub on the screened porch, or grill out in the back yard & watch the neighbor's goats roam.
If you would like to fish in the small community pond, bring your favorite fishing pole!

*Flat-screen TVs in every room
*Flat parking
*Hot tub
*We provide a well-equipped kitchen with 12-cup coffee maker (flat bottom filters) and Keurig combo.
*We don't have an ice maker, but we do have ice trays for guest use.
*Free Wifi
* There is a grill utensils box to use for the charcoal grill only.
*Charcoal grill, firepit, & picnic area in back yard. Bring your charcoal and firewood.
*Gas fireplace (available October-May)
*There are 4 camping chairs available to sit around the fire and a table with benches next to it.
*This wonderful cabin is located beside a pond and behind a farm. You can see the goats roaming, and they are fun to watch while you enjoy your morning coffee. DO NOT FEED THE GOATS. The farm owner has vehicles parked on their land to the side of our cabin, but the vehicles don't disrupt your private space. The neighbor has 3 dogs next door that he has in cages and takes hunting. I have been told by guests at different times that the dogs bark sometimes. They do bark when they see bears or animals at night, so we have noise machines in each bedroom for guest use just in case.
*The small pond is catch and release. We do not provide fishing poles and tackle, but you may bring your own.
*The cabins in the neighborhood are numbered. Ours is Cabin #1.
*Convenient location to Pigeon Forge (10 mins), Gatlinburg (35 mins), & Natl. Park (20 mins)

CABIN LAYOUT:
Main level has living room, dining, King Master suite with jacuzzi tub. Upstairs has 2nd King bedroom, full bathroom right outside the door, and foosball table. The living room has a sleeper sofa.

STARTER QUANTITIES PROVIDED: Cleaner provides liquid soap (they do not provide bar soap due to supply chain issues), 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 kitchen towel, 1 dish towel, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry pods, 2 trash bags. They provide starter supplies, however, you must bring what your group needs based on the size of your group and the length of stay.

* Washer and dryer provided
* Sheets and towels are provided.

*If you would like additional family & friends to join you on your vacation, our friends have a 2BD/2BA cabin (sleeps 6) two doors down that can be rented, pending availability.

*Please remember you are in the woods, so bugs are to be expected.
*If you see bears, DO NOT feed them under any circumstances. Put all trash in bear bin.
*Keep the hot tub cover on the hot tub at all times when not in use... or you may find a bear in it.
*Always lock vehicles. Bears can open doors.
*Just like with any home, there are times appliances (including hot tubs, which are appliances) can break. We do not provide a refund if an appliance breaks, to include hot tubs, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, blenders, washer/dryer, etc. We will have the item fixed or replaced as quickly as the maintenance specialist can get there, but please do not ask us for a refund. We value our maintenance team and they work hard to remedy appliance situations as soon as possible.
*Should you experience a maintenance issue over the weekend or during a holiday, ONLY emergencies will take precedence. All other maintenance issues will be resolved Monday or the next business day if possible.
*If the cleaners charge extra due to stained towels, sheets, or excessive cleaning, those charges will be passed to you.
*Please put all trash in bear bins. Guests may request a mid-trip trash pickup for a charge of $35 or guests may take extra trash to the Convenience Center at 447 Tiger Drive, Pigeon Forge, TN (located behind Pigeon Forge High School) at no charge.
*Owners, cleaners, and any vendors we use are not responsible for items guests leave behind at the property. If you leave an item, the cleaners (separate group from us as the owners) will try to accommodate retrieving the item and shipping it back to the guest if requested. They charge $50 per item requested and all shipping fees. Guests must pay this in order to have their item shipped back to them. Cleaners are very busy and cannot grant a specified time frame for shipping or delivery. Please make sure to take all belongings with you when you leave the property. Cleaners cannot handle firearms. If a firearm is left by a guest, it must be picked up immediately from the property or the firearm will be turned into police. Guests will have to retrieve the firearm from the police department.

Not a private cabin
Dogs barked all throughout the night, the cabin is way smaller in person and not private at all. There us junk all over the back yard, chicken wire fencing and smells like dogs. You can see kennels and hear dogs growl at you as u enter the house. The pond is very dirty and trees cover it so u cant even fish. The back porch is very dark at night with little to no lighting. If u stay here make sure u have proof of your problems or youll be called a liar.
