Casanova is one of the farmhouse part of the Castelnuovo Tancredi Wine Estate.

The farmhouse has 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms with showers at the first floor and one extra bedroom if guests don't mind to share a bathroom.
A large living room and kitchen at the ground floor offer guests moments of real peace and tranquility, and so the amazing swimming pool just over the olive grove.
Large glass and wood doors open onto a covered patio for dining and enjoying the views over the fields with Montalcino twinkling in the distance.

The surrounding area offers the best of the real Tuscany , away from the crowded towns such as 'San Gimignano and surroundings. In just a short drive and a few minutes you can reach Pienza, Montalcino, Val D'Orcia. Day trips are easy to do and come back after lunch to relax in the pool and enjoy the sunset. A very special retreat.

Castelnuovo Tancredi is a renowned historical property and part of the ADSI, or Dimore Storiche Italiane.

Idyllic

This property is a gem, and its owner is amazing. It suits tastes for adults and for kids. Classy interior and overall setup, great comfort in a most beautiful setting. You will be well taken care of, even spoiled, and you will have immediate access to the best that Tuscany has to offer. We enjoyed our stay here tremendously and are looking forward to returning. Convenient day trips to Florence, Siena, Montalcino.

It is everything you imagined a home in Tuscany to be.

Out family of 8 adults had a wonderful time. The home, the setting, the location and the people were all we hoped it to be. It may be best summarized by my son who asked if we could spend a month here next year.

A stylish place in the heart of Tuscany

A stlylish and elegance place close to te most beautiful place in Tuscany. A place like home, better than home, that is the best way to visit and "taste" the Italian countryside. Montalcino, Montepulciano, Siena are all to a few kilometers, so you can spend a day in the swimming pool and dinner in one of many wine bar in the neighbourhood. Certainly, I'll back soon. Very soon.

One of the best spot in Tuscany

We had a lovely week in this gem nestled in the hills of Siena. The farmhouse is very cozy with large and bright rooms, furnished with taste and in the living room there is a beautiful big fireplace. Outside from the beautiful garden with pergola you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. This place is just magic and is very close both to Siena and Montalcino. We got lost lost in long and peaceful walks around the big property of which the Farmhouse is part..such a special place! In conclusion the reception was excellent, and the wine cellar simply great. Very recommended!

Beauté et tranquillité

Ancienne ferme avec de belles et grandes pièces, lieu isolé et calme, mais proche des commerces de Buonconvento. L'endroit idéal pour le repos mais aussi pour de nombreuses visites de la région de part sa localisation assez centrale. Magnifique campagne. Propriétaires sympathiques et serviables, vins de la propriété tout à fait estimables. Seul petit bémol, l'équipement de la cuisine, un peu léger. Je recommande donc vivement cette location.

Why they chose this property

The true spirit of Tuscany has changed so much in the last years, and sadly, not always in a better way. Our purpose at Castelnuovo Tancredi is to maintain our property as true as possible, in all its aspects: wine and olive oil production and primarily hospitality. However, often this isn’t the most popular in todays world.

What makes this property unique

We would like to remind our guests that Castelnuovo Tancredi is an organic farm since 25 year, long before this became a trend first and now a mission and an global emergency.
So, if you ask for it, we will suggest and teach you how to be ecofriendly to this untouched enviroment, by using recycling bins, avoid waste of water and electricity and some more easy tips to reduce plastic use.
This will make a big difference on your holiday.
On our side we can proudly say that pesticides are not used at all, either for our crops or for our vineyards. We really do our very best to eliminate spider webs and our cleaning staff is very conscious of clients sensibility to bugs that you find in the countryside.
Please note Tuscany Tourist Tax (1 euro per person per day) first 7 days is collected at check in - we provide official receipt and that heating consuption are not included in price during winter month.
