About Ken & Shelly
I'm an avid woodworker and you'll see some of my work in the condo including the headboards in both bedrooms and the fireplace mantle made of beetle kill pine.
Ken & Shelly purchased this Condo in 2010
Why Ken & Shelly chose Steamboat Springs
We've lived in Colorado for 28 years and have been vacationing in Steamboat for 26 of those years. We love the beautiful mountain area, laid back atmosphere, and abundance of things to do year round. We have many great family memories of Steamboat, Colorado.

Ken and Shelly’s condo was so convenient. The bus stop was very close. The evening shuttle on call was extra convenient- and super quick! All the comforts of home in the kitchen area were nice.
As advertised and hosts were very responsive
Everything was great only downside was taking city bus.
Great place to stay
Great place and good location
Comfy couch and very well equipped kitchen. Need blackout drapes in bedrooms.
With the annoying outdoor light the bedrooms were lit up like daylight after dark. Need black out curtains in bedrooms. There was a plug in air freshener that was very irritating to the nose. We unplugged it and aired out the place. Despite the heavy snows the maintenance crew kept the sidewalk really clean. We did have to dig out the car after snowplows came.
Fantastic condo with awesome owners!
This was my second stay at Ken and Shelly's condo and I plan on renting again next season. Perfect location, well appointed, and you can't find more accommodating owners in Steamboat! Awesome place.
Beautiful Steamboat Spring snowy getaway
We had a wonderful time staying at Ken and Shelly’s Rockies Condo. Their home was warm and inviting and very nice. The weather was beautiful and my daughters loved swimming outside surrounded by 5 feet of snow. We met some locals that lived in the same complex and they were so friendly giving us all the “tips from locals” about what to do, what to see, and how to get around Steamboat. It’s just a very short walk right out the front door to the free bus line to get you right down to Base Camp and the gondola.
If you’ve never gone, we highly recommend tubing at Saddleback Ranch. Besides staying at the condo, tubing at Saddleback was the highlight of our vacation!
