About Linda Johnson
Photographer; Linda Johnson has lived in Sedona for many years. She owns a portrait studio in California. She enjoys being a tour guide, geology, hiking, rock climbing, being moved and feeling empowered. Her days are filled with images and ideas, she is always watching and waiting for the defining moment…dramatic weather conditions, a sunset, a star filled night, a waterfall or just red dirt! Linda creates moments that help people to see how much beauty there is in a moment and the often overlooked details of daily life.

Beautiful Views Complete Relaxation
We loved Linda's house. Linda gave us all the information we needed for a complete fun relaxing vacation - hiking trails, restaurants, shopping tips, places and activities to consider. The house is super clean and has everything in the kitchen to make your stay easy. The beds are super comfortable and the furnishings are high quality. The views are beautiful. This home is well situated near Jerome, Clarksville, Cottonwood and Sedona. You will love it here. We highly recommend it.
This was our 2nd time staying in Linda’s home. So comfortable and relaxing to come home to after a day out in the very hot, humid weather that we had this time around. All of Linda’s recommendations were useful and spot on. Nice to have games and puzzles available for the hot days we stayed inside.
Finally got to Slide Rock State Park this time around, very nice day trip to visit and to relax in the nice cool water. Also would recommend the Pink Jeeps Tours (with tour guide Laura, she was the BEST) Broken Arrow/ Scenic Rim Combo was awesome, adventures and sights you will not see from a car. We will hopefully be back again soon, just love this area and Linda’s home. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home again! Everything was perfect, did not want to leave.
Another relaxing stay at Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget
Linda has a wonderful property and provides everything you need to have a delightful stay. As we travel around the country, we have had a number of disappointments in some of our lodging, and that was why it was so easy to return to Linda’s property. We hope we can again some day.
This was our first time using VRBO and it was great. LInda's place is a VRBO premier partner and understandably so! The house was a beautiful place to stay. It was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for and more. I liked that other travelers left items they couldn't take with them, we used those, and we did the same. The coolers in the garage worked out great as we went on many day trips. We highly recommend Linda's home!! If we are headed out this way again, we would definitely return here for our stay.
If you would like to stay close to home there are many wonderful experiences to be had in this area of the Verde Valley. There are several local wineries on Page Springs Road (about 5-10 minutes away), and don't forget the Fish Hatchery on that road, as well. In nearby Camp Verde are Montezuma's Well, Montezuma's Castle, and a little farther out, Tuzigoot, Honanki and Palatki, ruins. Also near the house is the Out of Africa Wildlife adventure area. For some night life, Cliff Castle Resort & Casino in Camp Verde (about 10 min. away) has some great restaurants, a bowling alley, and, of course, lots of 'one armed bandits,' if you want to try your luck!
Nearby Old Town Cottonwood is also a great place for an afternoon stroll. Plays and performances are offered in the Theatre there, and the La Bella Restaurant offers wonderful natural fare. The Clarkdale Train offers a sweet ride through the local mountains, with the guide pointing out both historical and natural points of interest...a real treat for train kids!
I can help you tailor your experiences to your interests and budgets...just ask! If I don't know the answer to your question, I will be happy to try and get one for you.
This is high desert living at its finest and it won't break the bank. Come stay in my home, I would love to have you.
