Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps ONLY 4)
- english, Some French
We are now retired, but owned The Lollipop Guild in downtown Gatlinburg for 14 years. We moved to the Smoky Mountains from Las Vegas where we lived for 30 years. We chose this rental cabin because of its view and wonderful location away from it all.
Connie purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why Connie chose Gatlinburg
Cobbly Nob is a coveted area with well maintained roads, gated community, cabin has magnificient mountain views, safe area and beautiful. This cabin is exactly what you imagine when you think of a 'little cabin in the woods.'

It’s the Berries!
This little Cabin in the Mountains was well equipped and met our needs in every way. Near to Gatlinburg but removed to its tranquil heights!! Visited by a couple of Bear Cubs in the morning, though they left quickly when we tried to photograph. Very quiet at night and the view of the Smoky Mountains from the porch rockers was beautiful from morning to dusk!
Thank you Kate, for taking the time to review. We're happy to hear you and yours had a good time and that the cabin was just the ticket! We hope you're already making plans to return.
Provided little. Some towels had holes. Could be cleaner. Bathroom cabinet doors. Bottom of mixer. Not enough garbage bags. One dishwasher tab. Dishes were left in dishwasher. Cleaning crew did not empty.
I must say we are shocked at this review. We were in constant contact with these guests (they needed extra help with directions, worried about being charged for small accidents, etc). We helped them find their way, exchanged many texts on various subjects responding immediately, assured them that we weren't worried about the small stuff. They NEVER alluded to anything mentioned here and in fact, thanked us for an "awesome place to stay." Please keep in mind that this negative review is only one out of over 100 positive reviews.
25th Anniversary Trip - 9/20-23/2019
My husband and I visited the Berries for our 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful visit...we came to this cabin because my parents used to own it back when we first got married. The last time we were here was in 1997, when our first son was 4 months old. The views are still amazing and the cabin has been nicely updated. The master bed was comfortable (although we couldn't get the SleepNumber remote to work - found out later that the bed was unplugged...oops!) and we had everything we needed. We were hoping for cooler weather so we could enjoy the hot tub, but it was just too hot! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, far enough from the traffic of Gatlinburg but close enough to be in the middle of it within 20 minutes or so. The owner was great to work with and we hope to come back very soon!
Our stay in the mountains
We very much enjoyed our stay in Gatlinburg and at the cabin. The cabin was very nice and enjoyed the hot tub. The view was great from the cabin front porch which we greatly enjoyed.
Perfect weekend getaway
Wonderful! We had a great time and experience was just as we desired. Beautiful cabin. Owners were super easy to get in touch with if needed. We will definitely return and recommend to others as well looking for a cabin in the area.
We're always happy to hear that our guests are happy with their experience. We look forward to hearing from you again!
Nice cabin. Small showers and roads getting there were a little tricky but worth the view
Would stay here again. Perfect for a short getaway. About a 1/2 hour drive to Gatlinburg
Only approximately 15 minutes to Downtown Gatlinburg, 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), 5 minutes to the Greenbriar entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Close to all area attractions, yet seemingly a world away! Your stay qualifies you for 10% OFF your entire purchase at The Lollipop Guild (located in Baskins Square between lights #6 & #7 on the downtown Gatlinburg strip).
