Summer in Bachelor's Gulch
We have been coming to Bachelor's Gulch for a family trip every summer. My family of 10 says that this is the best place we've ever stayed. The grandkids loved the heated pool.
We loved that fact that the house was so well organized . The house had everything that we needed.

This is as close as you can get to ski-in/ski-out. Several hot tubs which made it nice to have our own.
Owner non-responsive to maintenance issues.
As soon as we checked in, we noticed in one of the bathrooms that the tub stopper was outside the tub laying on the tile floor and that there was standing water in the tub. I immediately contacted Carlie and told her about the problem. She said to use the Drano That was in the laundry room. We tried it but it didn’t work. When I contacted her to let her know, she said, “Drano usually works,” so evidently this is a reoccurring problem. Carlie said she would let the property manager know and they would get someone up there to snake it out as soon as possible. The next day, I had not heard from Carlie, so I messaged her again. She said, to try turning the stopper. Obviously, no one had called a plumber to come snake the tub as she had said she would do. Meanwhile, we have 9 women sharing 2 showers!! We did what she suggested but obviously turning the stopper did nothing to alleviate the problem. I had to message three more times until I finally received an answer from Carlie. She finally scheduled a plumber 3 days after I notified her of the problem. This is unacceptable. There were other issues with the condo (clogged toilet and green picture on the main TV), but we didn’t even bother notifying Carlie because of the poor response with the clogged drain.
I am sorry the guests were not happy with their experience. I take pride in renting our home and providing a comfortable and relaxing place for individuals to stay. This is our home away from home as well and we had just left after a week long stay prior to their arrival.
I received an email on 2/26 stating the shower was not draining well. I suggested the guest could use the Drano we had in our cleaning supplies. I then follow up with a conversation with my property manager and she recalled the drain was working properly prior to their arrival. I had a follow up conversation with the guest the evening of 2/27 and the guest felt it still was not draining properly and requested a plumber to be called. I was able to reach a plumber on 2/28 and because we live in the mountains the soonest he could come to our unit was the morning of 2/29.
To follow up on the additional concerns of the guest, she had left a note in the condo after her departure stating the half bathroom toilet was not working and the TV coloring was green. We had the plumber come again after learning about this and he stated there were no issues with any of the toilet. In regards to the TV, we left the day they arrived and it was working properly. I followed up after the guests left and it appeared the color settings were adjusted on the TV causing the screen to appear green. Fortunately, we have several TVs through out our unit.
I strive to answer all guests’ question promptly and I take all guests’ concerns seriously. I have a long track record of strong reviews.
2018 pure bliss skiing
Had a great time; place was just like the pictures. We had 7 adults and place was large enough to accommodate us all. Most convenient ski-in/out I've stayed. Hot tubs really convenient. Homeowner very responsive and very nice. A little hiccup with getting keys; although we gave our name and the place we were staying at the security gate, they let us proceed to the condo but no keys. Thinking we would get keys at the condo location, that property manager could not help. Back down the mountain to the security gate, we gave our names again and did get the keys in an envelope that had my name on it. Maybe this was our fault but we gave our name so figured that what was needed. Overall, awesome place and would DEFINITELY consider staying here again.

We always have a lovely time here. The property is well-kept, quiet, and peaceful. The condo is gorgeous, and the views are spectacular. A perfect vacation spot.
Great Spot - Beautifully Kept - AC would be welcome
Spent 17 days here in July. Beautifully appointed and well kept. Pristine shape. Upstairs bedrooms are not well ventilated and were very uncomfortable on warm nights. Downstairs, no problem. Easy walking to Beaver Creek Village (about 3 miles - but beautiful. Also walkable to Ritz. Would not stay again in summer, but has excellent location for ski-in ski-out.
