About Pippa Carson
I am a Licensed real estate broker and REALTOR. When I'm not selling homes, I enjoy paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, good food and great wine. I always have a trip planned and love getting away to other magnificent parts of the world. I am originally from South Africa and after graduating from university I lived in Europe, Mexico and then here in the USA. In my early working years I did international government negotiations which was the foundation of her adventurous and successful sales career. I bought this quaint home due to its fabulous location. At the time I as working in an office in downtown Bellevue. I lived here myself and loved being able to walk to work in the morning and to the movies and dinner in the evening. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, I would enjoy peaceful weekends in the large yard feeling like I was miles from the noise! I enjoy the area so much with the incredible hikes, mountain biking, skiing and city culture all at my fingertips. It's no surprise that my husband, children and I still live in the area and have done so for many years. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Nice home for a week
Pippa's home is very nice and had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, close to downtown Bellevue. Could use a lot of pruning around the front walk and driveway. A bit of a hazard at night. Missing a few light bulbs in the kitchen/living room. The glass tray in the microwave is broken and has a very sharp edge. The beds are extremely comfortable which is rare in a rental. I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Pippa for an enjoyable week, considering my circumstances.
We had a mix up with our rental, and contacted Pippa last minute, and amazingly this property was available. I was so stressed, and she was so helpful. The property is beautiful, and the landscaping gorgeous. My children (adults) got to stay longer than we did (unfortunately) but I loved everything about this property.
Very comfortable and consistent with the description.
We were 4 adults with a 4 and 1 year old children. The property made the one week family visit very comfortable.
Check in was simple, Pippa provided needed written instructions in the home as well as in the confirmation notice.
Pictures and description was right on with reality. Easy access to downtown and major highways & streets.
Good local restaurants, I recommend the Mediterranean Grill.
Having a highchair and children toys available was very helpful. The floors were so clean that we let the baby craw around.
We could not have had a better stay in a expensive hotel.
Welcome bottle of wine was well appreciated since we arrived late.
Felt like home while on business in Bellevue
Half the price of a hotel while feeling at home. This home is only a 5 minute uber ride to downtown or a short walk if you don't mind a few hills. Terrific patio for coffee in the morning, quite and peaceful setting while being right in the heart of downtown Bellevue. The house was spotless on arrival and the host was accommodating to our every need. Downtown Bellevue had a wide selection of dinning and shops for relaxation and a short 20 minute drive to Seattle for dinner and site seeing made for a terrific business stay. I will be booking this same house on my next trip, for the value and location it cannot be beat.
Fantastic location, great find!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The house had 3 good sized bedrooms and one bathroom. It was immaculately clean and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The appliances were all top notch and the beds super comfortable and the house very nice and warm. The location is fantastic, easy walking to downtown Bellevue or a 2 minute drive. I would definitely stay again. Thanks!
Rough start, happy ending.
This would have been a five star review, please read on for details. Our group of 5 adults, myself and husband, my parents (85 years old) and my sister all rented this house together for my younger son's wedding. We needed a one level home for my parents and this fit the bill perfectly and was close to my son's home. We had traveled all day from MN to Seattle and arrived at the house at 9:15 pm. Unfortunately, the house had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We did see a check on the counter for the cleaning service so we know it was scheduled to be cleaned, but it was not ready for us at all. We contacted Pippa and she immediately apologized and came over to the house. She did clean the house that night, but it was much too late for us to consider staying there. We did return the next day and did enjoy the rest of our stay. You never feel quite the same after an initial bad impression, but Pippa did do all she could to make it right including refunding the first nights stay. We would recommend this house and Pippa for any other guest.
Staying here will put you in the heart of the action but give you the quiet of a double dead end street. It's about the closest you can get to the shops, businesses and restaurants but still have a yard and complete, quiet privacy. There is public transport a few blocks away that can take you just about anywhere although for convenience, we still recommend you have a car. Down town Bellevue is an up-market zone where shops like Nieman Marcus parallel those found in Paris. But there are regular grocery stores and inexpensive restaurants mixed in with the up-market ambiance. For a bit of the 'Old Bellevue' (with huge ambiance), take a stroll up Main Street to the original Bellevue of small shops, fabulous French Bakeries and coffee nooks where the locals have lunch.
