Close to town, fishing ponds, and allowed us to do everything we wanted.
Nice location and can'take beat the view. Got a little warm the 1st night so AC would be a big plus. They do provide fans however. The wife and I loved it and would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our first trip to Red River. The Condo was nice and met most of our expectations. However, the pictures on the website showed that the property had at least one recliner. It did not. Upon arrival I noticed there was no recliner on the property. When I inquired about that and explained that I slept in a recliner and could not sleep comfortably in a bed, the response was "We're sorry, the owner changed out the recliners and we have not updated the website". To a degree, I will take some blame because I normally confirm there is actually a recliner on the property before I book it. In this case, I was working on a large project out of state and did not take the time to do that. I made something work during our stay and overall we had a very good time and enjoyed the property. I wish they had been more aggressive with their customer service and worked to help solve the dilemma rather than pass it off as a "Too bad, so sorry, you'll have to figure something out yourself". I am very customer service oriented and this was just lousy customer service.
My next criticism: They have a lot of language in the "do's and don'ts" welcome package and we certainly lived by them. But the most RIDICULOUS "don't" was regarding the single key they gave us to get into and out of the property. "If you lose the key a locksmith will have to come out and you will be charged for that plus a replacement key, etc.". There is a Combination lock on the door. Change the combination to accommodate the incoming guest, then change the combination after they leave for the next guest. I have stayed in several places that utilize this type of ingress/egress and it works well. That way all guests have access to the property, not just the one with the key! And come on......you're going to charge me up the ying yang because a locksmith has to come deal with this......please!

With all that, I'll still give you 4 stars overall because the property is nice and met most of our needs, though you could work on the cobwebs in the bathrooms. Thanks for a nice first visit to Red River!
very clean, in a great location for fishing, or just listening to the river, stairs were a bit steep and short but manageable .
Had problems with the water heater which was no fault of the realtor. They were extremely prompt in trying to fix the issue and when it was apparent that it could not be corrected , we were immediately moved to a comparable condo. They even helped us get everything moved in.
It was a great cabin in a good location.
It was easy and very nice people.
