About this property

Gorgeous beach house in best location. Private pool and close to beach!

You have to see this gut-renovated, stylish and chic cottage gem with sizable 18 x 36 ft heated pool (that now includes a Tesla or other EV Car Charger). The interior renovation includes a gorgeous new kitchen, top-of-the-line appliances, stunning lighting fixtures, shiplap ceilings, numerous built-ins, new flat screen TVs, and fabulous new bathrooms. Exterior renovation features a brand new deck with 1,000 sq ft of outdoor living, new outdoor furniture, and new propane firepit, and a fabulous double outdoor shower. The first floor features 3 bedrooms (one king in the Master and two twins in the other), 2 full bathrooms, plus a second floor study (which has a queen pull-out). House has central air and an indoor/outdoor Sonos music system. Very short walk (300 yards) down sandy lane with direct beach access to breath-taking private Amagansett beach. The beach is very private with your access to owner's beach association privelages. There are 2 gravel driveways at the home allowing for up to 5 cars to be parked.

Perfect beach home.
This is by far the most clean, updated and comfortable gone we have rented. The property is immaculate and every detail is thoughtful. The linens were beautiful, the kitchen high-end, all amenities in great shape. And i wish i could take their back yard home with me. The pool was pristine, the outdoor set up comfortable and fun. Add to that a one block walk to the gorgeous, ocean beach and we were all in heaven.

Family weekend in the Dunes!
This wonderful family home was a great venue to spend time with my son/daughter in law and their young family (3 yr and 6 month old daughters). The Bedrooms were comfortable, the LR/DR were very inviting, and the outside areas were very enjoyable. Having the small study upstairs provided a welcome 'retreat' during the weekend. Having the soothing pool was a welcome relief from the pounding waves. I look forward to our return!

Fantastic holiday home!!
We had such a great stay at this property. The pool area is amazing and so good for entertaining and having BBQ's with friends. It's so close to the beach we walked there everyday. The house is beautifully furnished. The owners are great to deal with and attentive to all our needs. Overall we had such a great holiday at this property and we look forward to renting it next year.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house the moment we saw it. No other homes in the Dunes offer the privacy and serenity of this home. Beautiful lawn, mature landscaping and relaxing pool which are rare in this area. The beach access is at the end of Maidstone, which means a very quick walk down this dirt path and you are on one of the prettiest and most private beaches in all of the Hamptons.

What makes this property unique

We love the combination of very quick access to a beautiful and private beach plus the seclusion of a private backyard around a very sizable pool and flagstone terrace. This is a great combination and ideal for true beach lovers. In addition to the proximity to the beach, we love that you are a quick drive to Montauk to the east (perfect if you have kids...miniature golf, pancake house), East Hampton to the west (with a huge array of restaurants and shops). This is, of course, on top of access to the town of Amagansett - from the famous farmers market, Meeting House, Mary's Marvelous, and other great spots.
