About Scott Llamas
My wife and I live in San Rafael, CA, just north of San Francisco. I am a music producer and avid surfer and she is a skateboard distributor manager and mystery novel junkie. We have loved vacationing throughout Mexico for 12 years now and finally decided that Punta Mita is the perfect getaway.
Scott Llamas purchased this Condo in 2011
Why Scott Llamas chose Punta de Mita
We picked this place in Punta Mita because it is the perfect combination of centrality to every comfort and adventure, while still enjoying the lifestyle of the small fishing village. It truly is the best of both worlds: A modern paradise.
What makes this Condo unique
Every amenity and luxury is available to you here in the heart of Punta Mita. Walk to: beachfront restaurants and shops, local taquerias and markets, spa and gym services, surfing, windsurfing and paddle boarding, and the local marina that provides snorkeling, scuba diving, whale watching, parasailing, wake boarding, water skiing, jet skiing, world-class sport fishing and more. Punta Mita is also centrally located to many great day excursions, including: hiking and zip lining through the rainforest, tours of historic Puerto Vallarta and leisurely strolls through quaint local fishing villages for camarones served off the skewer.

Family Vacation With Three Kids Ages 6 & Under
This was a great spot for our family. The condo was as described and worked well for our family. We rented a vehicle at National Car Rental; the car rental office was less than a 5 min walk from the condo.
We spent four days exploring different beaches: San Pancho, Sayulita, Bucerias, and Destiladeras. The furthest of these beaches was apprx 45 min. When we returned back to the condo, we enjoyed the pool which was to ourselves most of the time.
The beach access from the condo was easy on the private walkway. However, our kids did not like the rocks at the beach from this access. Ana (property manager) suggested we walk 10 min away from the condo on Ave El Anclote. This was a good fit for our kids.
The beach our family enjoyed the most was Destiladeras which was apprx 20min away by car. Powder Sandy Beach with clear calm water.
If you are looking for a night life, this is not the destination for you. My family was looking for a quiet and relaxing place to vacation. This location and condo worked for us. We look forward to returning.
Great little place close to Town
Check in process wasn’t very smooth, but stay was great! Place was advertised as a 3bdr but third room was tiny! Great location
We were pleasantly surprised to find the amenities, location and of course view even better than advertised! This unit was top notch with just steps to the beach and town. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday!
We could NOT have chosen a better spot. Thank you!
Great surf condo
Great view, best location for surf. Has beach gear. Good security. Excellent owner.
Property is so lovely, the pool divine. A safe area, groceries close by, lots of
boutique type shopping, and many good restaurants in the main area and along the water. The condo was comfortable, spacious, and equipped.... it worked wonderfully for our group!
Great location, very nicely kept, friendly owners.
For the price, the place is excellent. Lovely balcony, good size, beautifully furnished and stocked. Infinity pool! Ocean view! Walk to the beach and restaurants, sleepy little town, very safe, lots of excellent restaurants and many affordable too. Keep in mind this is Santa Barbara, Ca meets Mexico, ritzy and glam mix with affordable, but not if you really know what things in mexico normally cost. The water pressure in the guest bathroom IS weak (several other people mentioned that, I doubt it will be changing anytime soon) and hot water in general is short lived and was sometimes temperamental- but it IS Mexico! If you want to walk to a great learner surf break and/or SUP, the beach is perfect! But you should know that is has great sand for lounging, but too many rocks for body surfing. Bring your water shoes!
Overall, the owners and property were fantastic!
In addition to unlimited pool, beach and ocean activities within walking distance, our unit is a short drive from Puerto Vallarta, several tropical rain forests tours and zip lining adventures, waterslide parks and countless quaint fishing villages.
