Stressful but beautiful view
The check-in process caused me anxiety. There were too many emails that were confusing and didn’t state clearly the check-in process (went from possible check-in at location to check-in only at property management office). Thankfully we were able to get in but only after 5 phone calls and two voicemails.
The elevator was broken and the property was located on the 4th floor.
The location is ideal, nice amenities, and amazing views.
Red Hawk condo--Keystone
Stayed at this location for 4 days. GREAT location only a 5 minute walk from the gondola. Because it is on the far east side of the village, not a lot of vehicle or persons traffic. Kind of off the beaten path. Condo was a little worn with minor issues including shower drain, drywall cracking and weathered carpet. Was a little unsure of check in with RMRM as no one at office, no one answered phone, etc. But all worked out in the end.
Good condo and location for keystone!
The unit has some cracking in the wall in the upper left corner of the sliding glass door and by the sink in the bathroom. Towel ring in bath is loose as well, probably from some previous guest using it to get out of the shower. That said, the place was well set up to be comfortable for 3 or four people to do some serious skiing. I’m sure it would be fantastic for warmer weather as well!
Really appreciated the space heater as we could keep the bedroom warm and the living room cooler for sleeping. The fireplace worked beautifully and was nice to warm up by after skiing! The humidifier was especially helpful as well.
Kitchen was fitted out very well gor cooking breakfasts, and the unit was close enough to go to for lunch as well!
The pool, hot tubs, and steam room were great for relieving sore and tired muscles after a day on the slopes.
Overall, a good unit to stay in for a group of three or four

Broken, broken, broken
This particular unit seems to be poorly maintained and terribly managed. From broken lamps, TVs, and coffee pot to a leaky sink and ancient electronics including a VCR (really?) and TV too old to connect any modern device, it was miss after miss for this unit. The management company attempted to fix SOME of these issues but only succeeded in substituting the leaking sink for a dishwasher that flooded the condo when run. This place needs some serious updates and repairs.
Love the location. Even like the building. I have stayed in another unit in the same building before and returned after having a great stay. Stay at Red Hawk Lodge, just rent from a different management company and a different unit. Don't give these people your money to only be burdened with their repairs and inconveniences. It is supposed to be a vacation at all.
The garbage disposal broke and we replaced it the next day, the maintenance person made a mistake and forgot to pull the plug on the drain and it caused it to flood. We also repaired that the next day.
The guest complained about the coffee maker, and even though nothing was wrong with it we got them a brand new one.
The lamp was not broken, it need a light bulb.
The TV works fine, the guest was not able to change the input so we did it for them.
The TV's are older and the owner has agreed to upgrade them at the end of the season.
The unit is not in poor condition, the TV could use a change which will happen, but we jumped through hoops for this guest and seemed that we could never please them. They wanted money, and given that we fixed the disposal the next morning and replaced a perfectly good coffee maker for them I will suggest that you not rent to this guest - tough customer!!
