Newly renovated ocean view duplex condos, close to the beach
Steve and Renee
About Steve and Renee
Our family first visited Costa Rica in 2001 after our insistent 5 year old demanded we help her save the rain forest. It was during this first visit that we were captivated by a land where the jungle meets the sea. Manuel Antonio was like unlike any exotic local we had visited in the past. The people, flora and fauna drew us back for many more vacations during the next decade. We traveled extensively throughout the country, but no area compared to our first love of Manuel Antonio. Manuel Antonio has it all- beautiful beaches, jungle teaming with wildlife and warm sunshine. All of this and an abundance of amenities including excellent restaurants, adventure tours and friendly Ticos (native Costa Ricans) who welcome you to experience all the wonders their country has to offer.
Steve and Renee purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Steve and Renee chose Manuel Antonio
After years of visiting Manuel Antonio, we decided to purchase a small piece of paradise. With the purchase of Villa Vista Mar, we are able to experience what the Costa Ricans refer to as Purda Vida, pure life. It is this lifestyle that we would like to share with our guests.
What makes this Condo unique
Our spectacular ocean view and location, within walking distance to the best restaurants and cafe's the area had to offer, as well as local beaches and Manuel Antonio National Park, make Villa Vista Mar a top choice when choosing a vacation rental. Also, the attention from our concierge team (before and during your stay) and extensive renovations to both units provide our guest with the best vacation experience.

Manuel Antonio Get away
Everything was just as advertised. Location to the beach, park and all the activities (restaurants, hotels and shops) was awesome. Only hitch was addresses are pretty much don't exist in Costa Rica. Make sure you have the what's App to communicate and locate the property. But I would definitely recommend this property as a vacation stay.
all was great....Geralyn was fantastic especially when i got sick
The Villa was spacious and comfortable for my family of five. The view of the Rocky Pacific ocean was beautiful. We woke to the sounds of Howler monkeys, and I enjoyed watching a pair of scarlet macaws on a daily basis. It was close to very good restaurants and the beach was absolutely beautiful
We are so glad you enjoyed your time at our place! The ocean views, wildlife viewing and easy access to restaurants and the beach are our favorite aspects of home, as well. We hope you return to Vista Mar in the future.
Great Location and SO Cool
Had a wonderful time staying in Manual Antonio at this property.
I was perfect for a family get away and was close to everything.
The property was so different being part of a complex built into a hillside.
Walked to restaurants, beach was a 3 minute drive and the National Park was within 5 minutes. A book of "Everything Goods" was supplied by the owner that really helped out in so many ways for tours, restaurants, etc...
We will definitely stay again when we venture back to Costa Rica.
Lovely Villa with a great view
It was a lovely place with a great view of the ocean. Great restaurants, a grocery store, and a bank within walking distance from the villa. The best and most convenient mode of transportation was using the very inexpensive and continuously-running bus system. The concierge staff was very helpful in arranging all our tours and making our trip more enjoyable. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back soon. Mark & Debbie
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at our place! We would welcome your return visit.
very comfortable, great location, gorgeous views
From the start, Renee and Steve were wonderful to work with. Very responsive and accommodating. The condo itself was even nicer than expected from the pictures and description. They have some of the most comfortable beds we've slept in while traveling (including the trundle bed). It felt so decadent being able to look out the window at the wonderful view. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We would see macaws and a resident basilisk ("jesus" lizard, that walks on water) daily from the pool. The location was great -right next to a grocery store and ATM, and in the middle of a number of great restaurants (cafe milagro, emilios, barba roja for sunsets). We even walked to el avion one night for dinner. It's a short drive to the park and both public beaches (espadilla and biesanz), and made for a great base to explore the area (we did a day trip to nauyaca waterfall). It was the perfect condo for our family of 4 and we would definitely stay here again if we come back to Manuel Antonio. Highly recommend!
