We enjoyed our stay. The location while in the historic district is out a little farrther for those who have trouble walking. It's about 1 mile to the area most are interested in seeing. There are sufficient parking garages and lots to utilize in the more touristy areas near Bay, Meeting and King streets.
Wonderful place to stay
This house had a very warm and cozy feel. Great area to walk. Plenty of things in the area to do. Would stay here again.
Historic Charleston home
This property has everything required to experience a Charleston getaway.
When we walked in the door we immediately felt welcome. This well loved home went above expectations, the front porch was comfy and spacious, but the back garden hide away was amazingly quite and serene! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, it was a memorable trip.
Great apartment, great location
The apartment and location was perfect for our visit. Three bedrooms for us and our adult children & spouses. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, but still nice walking to all of the sites and tourist areas.
Would definitely come back to this apartment on any future visits to Charleston.
Great Charleston House for our "girl's" weekend with two birthdays. Plenty of room in the house.
We were never in each other's way and the home lent itself to comfortable entertaining. The locks were not an issue once you knew how to use it properly. It is an old home so expect some issues with doors not closing entirely but all in all it was a great vacation!
The historic peninsula city of Charleston, South Carolina is without a doubt the most beautiful of all the towns and cities in the United States. Cobbled Streets, Antebellum Mansions whispering charm, wide covered porches (called Piazza's in this Southern land), flowering fragrant gardens, sidewalks rimmed with jasmine, horse drawn carriages, a college campus draped in Spanish moss and the secrets of the past, ....Charleston has it all...and this home away from home for you is in the middle of it all...across the street from one of the most beautiful (and THE most expensive) mansion in town, an easy and delightful stroll to any and everything you might want to see: Downtown shopping, historical mansions, The Battery, White Point Gardens, Colonial Lake, The College of Charleston, The Medical University of South Carolina, some of the best restaurants in the entire nation. You can make this trip without a car if you wish. Start walking about - you will find no reason to drive anywhere
