Best bang for your buck!

Our family was so pleased with this site. The RV was spacious, clean, private, and everything we needed in a home base for our family vacation. I would highly reccommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting San Diego. Exceptional!

Great little place

The trailer is very clean. Lots of kitchen supplies. Bring your own dinner ware. Neighborhood is beautiful and quiet.

An Acquired Taste--Your Mileage May Vary

First, trailer living is an acquired taste. People who enjoy camping will consider this trailer glamping. Those without camping experience will complain about the living arrangement. My step-children complained about the oppressive heat at 6pm check in. Then they sniffed odors in the bathroom and toilet paper was missing. We bought air freshener and TP from the local market. Our 10-year old was in tears and the teen was griping about the bathroom odors endlessly. Second, while the trailer is relatively new, it's starting to show wear and tear. E.g.the fridge door latch is broken, so it's difficult to unlatch. A couple of light bulbs are out. The fire alarm was dangling with the battery dislodged. Sounds and vibrations travel well throughout the trailer. At bedtime, one could feel the vibrations of others moving on the other end of the trailer. Second, given trailer living isn't commonplace, a folder or binder with operation instructions would have been helpful. Eg, most lights are activated not by wall switches but by a button on the light cover itself. Other lights require light switches also. Showering requires the hot water thermostat to be turned on. The toilet uses a foot pedal for flushing. The shower fan uses a small push button to activate.Check in glitches. Using the property address, Google Map took us to an adjacent gated property. There is no lock box as instructed. Instead, the door is unlocked with keys on the inside counter. The owner communicated well

Camper stay

The camper was very clean and very nicely stocked with many items. I was pleased to see it so functional. The propane was empty but the owner came right away from San Diego and replaced it. I needed assistants from the "caretaker" whom lives on the property and he was VERY quick and helpful The couple above are very sweet and the other neighbor keeps to themselves but seemed friendly as well. I was thankful to have this little solitude on my trip to Ramona. I left behind a coffee pot for the next folks....This is truly a cute and practical situation would stay again if I needed it. I walked a lot and felt safe and very exercised in the neighborhood. My last night there a mama coyote and cubs walked right by my camper unit. It was cute.
