Anyone out there?
Pros of this space— the location was perfect for me, it’s quiet and I felt safe staying there at night. It was clean overall (see notes below) and well enough equipped. Cons- No drip coffee machine (only pods) and the cleaning in the bedroom was sub par. It was so bad that I started getting bitten by what I believe were dust mites. My finger swelled up and I couldn’t bend it. I notified the host and was told that someone would come inspect “immediately”. Nobody ever came and the host never followed up. I ended up vacuuming the bedroom myself to solve the problem.The host’s responses to my inquiry about a drip coffee machine (I’d bought ground coffee at the store before my arrival and wanted to use it) and the response to my concerns about bugs under the bed were canned and in fact they failed an AI detector I put them through. I’m not convinced I wasn’t talking to a bot. Stay here if you don’t anticipate needing support from a human that cares because they’re either not there or not going out of their way to help.
