Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
There were so many issues which we brought to the anttention of the host with no response during our stay. pretty frustrated that we spent so much money for what was expected to be a retreat, but unfortunately because of multiple issues, we were not been able to enjoy and relax as we should have been able to. Below are some of the things that came up.When we booked this place, there were only a few pictures, some of the picture seem like they’re duplicates of the others, therefore we really did not get a proper idea of what this place indeed looks like. It would’ve been helpful to know that the main kitchen is in the basement, which is very dingy, musty, dimly lit, not well circulated air. Laundry room with beds was not disclosed (in pics/ context).⁃many outlets not working⁃Not enough lighting in rooms and some rooms with only small night light lamps ⁃Clothes cabinets broken or not sturdy in some rooms and don’t exist in other rooms ⁃Coffee / tea urns don’t work, no filter parts ⁃broken glass/ mirror frame- this is a serious hazard (especially having families with toddlers/young children) - Multiple refrigerators/ freezer not working on the main level - TV not plugged in/ or functional - unable to use ⁃Hole in the floor Leaking ceiling ( informal sitting area)⁃Ice maker bin doesn’t close ⁃One of the fire pits isn’t working ⁃Old trash was there- mice droppings in multiple locations (stairs/ kitchen/ basement) - kayaks
