Overlooking the # 8 green and within walking distance to the Shadowmoss Plantation Golf Club clubhouse, enjoy a round of golf during your stay or visit some of Charleston's many wonderful attractions. Close to Drayton Hall Plantation (3 minutes), Magnolia Plantation (5 minutes) and Middleton Place Plantation (8 minutes): Located on SC 61 and included in the Ashley River Historic District, Drayton Hall was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1960. The South Carolina Department of Archives and History claims that Drayton Hall is "without question one of the finest of all surviving plantation houses in America". (www.draytonhall.org).
