About Gina Day
Hello! My name is Gina and I love to travel. With that said, I try to stock our cabin home with just about everything you need to make your trip easy, fun and relaxing. I keep active and enjoy new experiences when I travel so I provide lists of things to do or place to see in the surrounding towns for our renters. Renters from out of state or the country especially appreciate this as it helps them make the most of their time in northern Arizona. Even Arizonians appreciate this because they don’t realize how much there is to do up here and it is constantly changing and improving. I also love to cook so I keep the kitchen stocked with items to simplify meal preparations so you can enjoy more time having fun and relaxing but still enjoy a home cooked meal. Our family keeps busy in the city so when we come up to the cabin, we unplug and reconnect with each other. For this reason, do not have Wi-Fi but we do have satellite TV, DVDs and board games for all ages.
Gina Day purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why Gina Day chose Williams
We built this cabin with love and it took 2.5 years. We completed it in 2006 and we are constantly making improvements. We wanted a place to take our children so we could relax and enjoy all the natural beauty of northern Arizona. We love to snow ski and board and have hiked the Grand Canyon to Phantom Ranch, Indian Gardens and from south rim to north rim countless times. We also love hanging out in historical down town Flagstaff...there is always something going on. Flagstaff is clean, safe and has unique and wonderful restaurants and shops to visit. We also enjoy Williams for the same reasons. We decided to rent out our cabin because we wanted to share all this with others so they would have a nice place to take their family and friends at the best possible price. Although we are in the Kaibab National Forest (it really is our back yard), and because of our exact location, you can quickly and easily drive in any direction and find fun and adventure. Our cabin sits at 7,000 feet so if it snows in Flagstaff, it will snow on our property. So many renters have told us a stay at our cabin was the first time their children played in snow. Children and adults love this place...it is MAGICAL!
What makes this Cabin unique
What makes our cabin so unique is the location. We are minutes to Interstate 40 and walking distance to Historical Route 66. The town of Parks and Williams will remind you of the Disney movie “Cars”, right down to the historical 76 Station that serves up great breakfast burritos and sandwiches. The national forest service gave us permission to install a gate on their fence so you may easily walk into the Kaibab National Forest and if you look close enough, you may find horney toads. They really do look like miniature dinosaurs! Elk and deer are a common site while sitting on the deck or driving through town, especially at dusk. The cabin is clean and decorated with local art and comfortable furniture so guests feel as if they are somewhere special. I can only assume all this explains our repeat clientele base and we feel blessed they choose to return to our cabin.

What a great house!
This house met ALL of our expectations. If you want a home that’s centrally located to all hot spots, this is it. We did Grand Canyon, Winslow, Sunset Crater, Slide Rock, Sedona Meteor Site.
We loved staying here. It was like a ho;me away from home in the woods. About an hour from Grand Canyon. Owners communicated well with us about what they expected and other important info. Bed was comfy and well taken care of. We loved the outside with fire pit and grill. Very roomy with lots to do.
Great cabin, Great location
The cabin in situated in a nice quite area and a great base for seeing all the area has to offer.
It is very comfortable and fully stocked with items needed for your stay. Also has plenty of information provided about local area, things to do , places to eat etc.
Owner was very easy to deal with and also informative.
We really enjoyed our stay here!
Great vacation house
We loved the house and property. Exactly as advertised. Lots of space for the kids to run. We especially enjoyed all of the board games. Definitely will come back.
Slice of heaven in the pines!
It’s perfect. We cannot think of one negative. We are veteran VRBO guests and have high standards. The reviews tell you all you need to know. You cannot go wrong if you want a spotless, cozy, private cabin that is close to so many things to see and do. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. We had a lot of questions ;) We will be back.
Perfect for family Grand Canyon get-together. My 9 year-old granddaughter thought it was the "most beautifulist" place ever. Great location surrounded by forest, about an hour drive from Grand Canyon, as well as a little over an hour from Sedona & Verde Canyon Railroad. The kids couldn't decide which they liked better, but all agreed the fire pit & s'mores were best. Very comfortable, with fully stocked kitchen. We decided it would be THE place to stay when in the area again.
Other Activities: Rock Climbing and lava tube caves
