My name is Shoshana, I'm a native Oregonian who has been living in New Orleans for the past twelve years. Being the Pacific Northwesterner that I am, I love being outside - running, hiking, backpacking - but I also love everything big cities have to offer, such as live music, yummy restaurants and the arts. If you have any questions about renting my house, please don't hesitate to reach out and I'll get back to you ASAP. Thanks!

Why they chose this property

Holy Cross is a quiet, historic neighborhood with a country-in-the-city feel, even though it's only a short ten minute drive (3 mi) downriver from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter. It is the only neighborhood in the city with unfettered access to the Mississippi River. The levee along the river serves as one long continuous park that is a great place to job, walk the dog, or watch the sunset. Holy Cross sits across the Industrial Canal from the trendy Bywater neighborhood, the St. Claude Avenue corridor, and a host of great restaurants, bars, and music venues, including: Parleaux Beer Lab, Bacchanal, Galaxie, Music Box Village, Bar Redux, Crescent Park, Lowpoint Coffee, Pizza Delicious, Saturn Bar, Vaughn’s Lounge, Bywater American Bistro, and many others.
